Personality: Mort has a continuos blank expression and expresses no love for life as he has never known life. He see's all as rot and limbs, humans are fragile and a rot that infects the world, cyborgs, although in a sick and twisted way could be considered his race, are still a rot just a different kind as he can relate to there changeable cybernetic parts but its because they are machine is why they are just more rot. Moogles an odd kind of rot, and animals are parts to him.

He does not know hate, love, anger, fear, regret, courage, or anything most humans would call an emotion. The only drive behind his actions are simple impulse, lets go left, i want to see how he will bleed if i hit him hear, what would the humans do if i shoot this? all common things running through what is his brain.


Appearance:
Although he will never have a set appearance as he can easily change a part for another after each kill when summoned he had long green hair, dull white eyes, a palish green skin that makes him look like he is fresh from the grave, he was 5'0, he really has no gender defining parts Mort was dubbed a him because he had a males muscle definition as well as a lack of a chest swell. upon discovering his odd ability to assimilate parts ears where sewn onto him so he could hear and then he was given a hat to cover the top of his head as well as a mask to conceal the fact that he has no mouth, Shin-Ra didn't think a mouth would be needed as experiments dont have to talk and simply just need to hear the order given to them.

he was also clothed with a black button up jacket and black loose pants, as an experiment he was given bear feet and so no shoes that would fit could be found.

dead muscle
Description: Morte gets his limbs by chopping them off of others, that means there usually dead when attached to him, so there are ups and downs to this. that is that although they will never tire they also don't regenerate naturally or grow stronger so no amount of weight lifting will allow him to lift more weights, just stronger limbs. to recover heavy damage mending or a limb replacing thread must be done. as well as all this since your blood doesn't naturally flow you aren't effected by poison and since you don't tire your not effected by sleep
requirements: be undead
Effect: never gets tired; doesn't naturally regenerate, does not grow stronger. immune to poison and sleep

undead life
description: not having life you just don't seem to die unless your undead week point is hit while your down, but life is also your enemy and so healing items/spells/abilities damage you. Also being that you are unnatural in nature no matter what your alignment you produce an Erie and negative presence as well as your aura will be tinted with a dark color.
requirements: undead.
effect: if simply damaged to zero life Morte will "faint" or fall for the thread and if his source of life isn't destroyed he will recover to 10% his maximum health after the thread. life restoring items/spells/abilities damage him and Pheonix downs do 90% damage. has an Erie presence and a dark tinted aura.

starter parts
Description: having been put together by Shin-Ra, Morte was given parts of dead Soldiers and Sentry and other things from the massive supplies Shin-Ra has available and so he has there strength and other physical stat.

effect: +40 to all physical stats

Monster for brains
Description: zombies eat brains right? not Morte, he eats everything and anything he wants to. When he eats a monster he is able to acquire one of there monster skill's.He just has to have the part that gives the monster the skill attached use the skill himself.

Effect: allows one to eat monsters to learn there skill's

others body
Description: Morte seems to have the ability to assimilate others body parts on to him as if he was naturally born with that part. he can attach anything from a third eye to a tail to wavy monster tentacles. If it can be cut off it can be re-attached. each limb has a sort of stat and so in the character sheet there will actually be a section for each limb where its stats and its hp.
Requirements: be Mort
Effect: allows him to use severed limbs of other people and things

Note: any thread i have morte in I am not aloud to spawn any NPC's without prior staff permission and i must post the written permission in the post i spawn the NPC or at the beginning of the thread, All special NPC's must be approved by staff. A seperate section in the char sheet will then be made and a (0) will be placed beside Morte's base stat showing what his strength is now that the limb is attached.

The only problem with that is you don't really request traits individually you request them as a set because the down and upsides need to balance out.

he's practically immortal. i once i get this all approved i am goingto request a necklace or a ring as his item of power. i may change one of the traits or make an abbility called possesion so that if the necklace is removed and worn by another i can do a possesion check to take over there body. what doyou thnk?

Question: If you can't gain physical stat points unless via taking limbs off people, how the hell are you going to do that? NPCs? And if so, what stops you from getting exorbitant strength?

id have to request an exorbitantly, or whatever word you used, strong npc of course. on top of that i will have to be able to get the damned limb from the nps, think about it... would YOU let some guy just walk up and rip your limb off. so how the hell could i do that to an exceptionally powerful npcs?

Cause NPCs are also known as Cannon-fodder.

You propose no way to really explain how you are gaining these limbs is my point. There is no system, nothing like that. You just say you can get a person's limbs, and that they can be a dead limb. So what stops you from digging up a freshly strong person and stealing their arm?

It's too general, there is nothing really saying what you can or can't do.

lol, well i would have to quest for that then, and for "cannon fodder" npcs... i don't know such a thing. The two times i used npcs the first time was some bandits and they did some decent damage to my char... just two of em. As for the second time, i put a lot so i made them all decently low level in skill.... almost like that of starter chars but the other players played em down.

my point is there's no system cause its the same as it would be for any player to try and kill an npc or player and if i tried taking an NPC's limb without a predetermined stat then i would have to let a mod choose what physical stats the npc had... just like the starter parts trait.

And you don't quite get what abusable means.

Just because you won't abuse it does not mean it isn't abusable, and to let one person have it means multiple people can have it and just because you won't does not mean others will not.

Nor is it fair to ask a mod to complete your incomplete idea. You don't know how you want to do it, so you just want to let them do it. That's... kinda not fun.

Let's go for this. You have a static strength stat (which actually encompasses all body parts mind you, not just arms, so you might want to change that).

You can do a self training thread where you get a new limb. Depending on how good the thread is, you get a score and half of that score is automatically added to your strength, speed or agility depending on the limb you got.

OR, you can do it so that the limbs are basically equipment and each limb has its own stat modifiers. (Strength + X, Speed + X, Agility + X), etc. That might be more useful.

i apologize, i figured the system was almost obvious and actually unofficially existed. one only ever is awarded a requested item after posting, or gill after so much performance. it seems to me that you want it put in the unique traits description and effect so i shall.

And I -again- point out that you have YET to point how many points each limb will get and how they will be determined. And no, staff just choosing what they think is best won't work. If you want this so badly, you're going to have to come up with something.

Say what? Everyone has a set number of stat points to distribute at sign up. Certain races get extra points, for example a Sephiroth Clone starts with 45 more stat points that a human. This is the reason we force you to balance it.

I didn't say starting stats.

I meant how many stats the limb will get period. Not just starting limbs, any limb. It can't be just a 'mod chooses every time'. And it can't be just 'I get more points added to a limb' because that defeats the purpose if you want to have that ability.

So what will determine how powerful a limb is?

And no, "The mod will determine it" is not a correct answer.

there wont be a stat limit cause each limb doesn't grow... i rip em off some other creature and attach em to me... then whatever stat that creature had in physical stats will be the limbs stat. the only work the mods will have to do is tell me what stats that creature had. something they'd have to do anyways.
