Mind giving me a bit of an explanation on how this would work?

Basically it works on the "eagle eye" principle. You shoot at a target you don't look at. if you want a prefect explanation it works just like the same maneuver from Devil May Cry.

An example. While firing both guns at a guy in front of me another guy comes up, my secondary arm (in this case my right, since my character is left handed) stops firing at the guy i'm focused on and aims over at the other guy and i begin firing at two different targets.

Two new techs now made.

Quote:

Name: Mass Effect Field
Description: Gravity effects weight. Weight effects speed. Having the Gravity materia, you can change Gravity on your opponents. Why not on what it’s equipped to? Equipped inside of guns it lightens the guns quite a bit.
Requirements: Gravity, Intelligence 25, MP 50
Effect: Weight of gun reduced by 50%. Accuracy increased by 10%
Cost: 5 MP constant drain

And...
Quote:

Name: Rail Gun
Description: By using the gravity materia equipped in the gun in tandem with the thunder, you create a different kind of propellant. The bullet is reduced in weight inside the barrel and then fired using the rail gun principle, by charging the barrel and the bullet differently essentially pulling the bullet right out of the barrel at extremely high speeds. Once the bullet leaves the barrel it returns to normal weight.
Requirements: Thunder, Gravity, Mass Effect Field, Gun Nut, Intelligence 50, MP 100
Effect: increase damage from guns that have linked Thunder and Gravity materia by 25%
Cost: X MP per shot

"X MP" is what mods think would be a good cost of MP for this tech

For the first one. I am assuming that means 5 MP per turn?

For rail gun:

You could have it do damage equal to thunder spell used + 25% due to light weight and have the cost be equal to gravity + thunder spell cost.

Or for as it is now I would think like 6-8 MP.

1. Yes it's 5 MP per turn,
maybe i should lower it to 2.5 since i'll be using two guns with this set up so it's a total of 5 MP per turn total?

2. It's not really using the spells per-say. It's using their effects.

I would say 4-5 MP per turn per gun then. Also I personally think the requirements should be a bit higher. This is because it has two effects and is a technique instead of an ability.

Then I would suggest somewhere between 6-8 MP (or 6,7,8 MP, not sure exactly which).

The first technique is fine by me. {Approved}

The second one I suggest some tweaks to. Those being that the increase in damage is dependent on the level of the Materia. EX:

Level 1 Thunder increases it by 20%
Level 2 Thunder increases it by 30%
Level 3 Thunder increases it by 40%

And the cost of it is dependent on the spell level you use. That way you can choose how much of an increase you want and how much MP you want. Cause you might not ALWAYS need a 40% increase, cause a 20% would be more than enough. Maybe 25% may not be enough sometimes.

Ya know?

Effect: increase damage from guns that have linked Thunder and Gravity materia by: Lvl 1 20%, Lvl 2 30%, Lvl 3 40%
Cost: Lvl 1 6 MP, Lvl 2 12 MP, Lvl 3 24 MP

Are those percentages relating to the actual damage of the bullet, or strength of the spell? Also, how long does this last? One bullet, 1 post, etc?

Its related to the damage the gun would normally do Bowwy, which I know cause of the original form before she made Clouds suggested edits.

Also by the description, it would be per bullet.

This is pretty underpowered in my opinion, then. 24 MP for +40% to ONE bullet?

Even with like...a gun with 50 strength, and 20 damage bullets, that's 24 MP for 98 damage total.

<_<

That's not really the boosts fault. That's the gun system's fault. 40% is still a pretty big boost.

Well when you add in all the other stats and statistics...it's going to be pretty painful. The accuracy is going to be up, the speed is going to be higher thanks to Mass Effect Field. But if you guys truly think it's underpowered...give some suggestions please
