Equipment Constrictor Body [Granite] Material Effect: Berserk Offense::. Durability is half against both Magical and Physical attacks. As a weapon, it’s strength is 1.5 Description [2 Hands]: This is a 4 piece set, right now this is about the hands however. It is very similar to a guantlet that covers both hands and comes u to the middle of both forearms. The base of the gauntlets are a soft but thick black cloth with studs over the back of the hand and all around the wrist that are made of granite and give it the penetrating and blocking properties. This device is intricate as in the palm of each gauntlet there is a thin layout that allows the power of Materia to be used. It can be seen as it is a layout of a hands skeletal structure and is also a grey color matching the studs all over the gauntlet. Materia Slots: 2( per gauntlet) Strength: 23(Material Effect) Durability: 8% Weight: 5 Cost: 780 Constrictor Body [Granite] Material Effect: Berserk Offense::. Durability is half against both Magical and Physical attacks. As a weapon, it’s strength is 1.5 Description [2 Legs]: This is a 4 piece set, right now this is about the legs however. It is similar to its counterpart, the hands. The base of the boots double as footwear and shin-guards. The base is thick and black and over the top of the foot and covering the whole shin are studs that are granite and grey in color. They improve the ability of the footwear’s ability to attack and defend. As with the hands, on the bottom of the feet are a foot skeletal structure in grey color that give it the ability to utilize Materia. There are two slots. Materia Slots: 2(per greave) Strength: 23(Material Effect) Durability: 4%(each equipment only covers one section and both can't be used at same time.) Weight: 5 Cost: 780 Total Cost: 1560 Techniques Apretón de Serpiente (Constictors Grip) Description: When a snake was it’s body around you it is quite hard to break free as it’s whole body or just part of it is thick and quite durable. Even when part of the body is around you it’s wrap is quite formidable. With this, You have the grip of the Serpents at your command making things hard to get free of your grasp. Requirements: 30 Hand to Hand, 30 Strength Effect: When your speed is quick enough to grapple someone, you can actually hold on to them to do whatever your slithering heart desired. If your (strength + Hand to Hand/2) is greater than their (Endurance+ Strength/2) they can’t escape your grasp! However if it is greater than yours than they can break free. This technique falls under a similar rule as the multiple attack rule per post. Every post you keep the enemy in your grip, your combined stat (Strength+Hand to Hand) is lowered by 20% Until you can’t hold them no more or you let them go. Cost: 0 Desarme de Serpiente (Serpents Disarming) Description: If approached the right way, an enemy that attacks you can be disarmed. This can be done by evading their attack and countering while they are unaware of your skill and speed with your body! Requirements: 40 Hand to Hand, 45 agility Effect: If your Hand to Hand Skill is greater than their chosen Weapon Skill, you can disarm the opponent for their next turn making every technique and ability with their weapon useless. Cost: 0 Edited by Tony7740, Dec 18 2009, 07:56 PM.

You don't necessarily have to request equipment unless you're either questing for them or they have a special effect aside from what the material gives. However, your numbers are a bit off. "Multiplied by 1.5" means a 50% increase, not a 150% increase. So, 5 weight of Granite will be worth 15, or 22.5 (23 for the sake of having whole numbers) Strength and 7.5 (8) Durability. (4% since they each cover two zones.) And Granite has a base cost of 80, so that would be 780 per pair, and 1560 for the set. As for the techniques...they don't work quite like that. Techniques require a trait, ability, or Materia to serve as a base, so a specific fighting style would have the style listed as an ability, and the individual moves as techniques based off of that ability. (There's also a limit to how many techniques one can have memorized based on their Intelligence stat, so unless you want to learn and unlearn techniques like a Pokémon would, you might want to get the ability that negates the Raven's lock on that stat. It's available to all Ravens that have the right stats from the beginning, since its prerequisites are based on the locked stats.) Edited by KurisuMurei, Dec 16 2009, 08:24 PM.

Abilities: Baile de la Serpiente (Dance of the Serpent) Description: Much like the slither of the snake, this art style consists of three facets; the strike which is the deadly precision of a snake. The speed which details the amazing quick strike of the snake and the wrap of a snake which leaves no man impervious to the snake’s grasp. This style, based on those faces embodies the power of the snake in your very being. Requirements: 50 Hand to Hand, 40 Agility, 45 Strength Effect: Allows one to use many technique’s and further their development to get theirself closer to the snake. Cost: 0 - Well this is what I have done to edit Kurisu. I edited the weapons like you said. I also made an ability which i can use the techniques and any others i make in the future. |

How it works is that it has to mention the base 'style ability' as a requirement of the techniques of the ability. And generally, such techniques would have to have higher stat requirements than the base ability for such requirements to even warrant mention, since if you can fulfill the requirements for the ability, then you would already have the stats for the technique. As an example without making any suggestions on what the stats should be:
I removed the mention of the 40 Hand-to-Hand skill as a requirement since the base ability had a minimum of 50 H2H anyway. However, I kept the Agility requirement since that was higher than that of the base ability (45 vs 40). |

I would suggest either lowering the requirements of the base ability so that you may establish that style as that of the character soon after the character's story fleshes itself out through RP. I'm tempted to say 10 or 15 less of each stat So here's how it will end up, as a potential example:
Oh, yeah, and I noticed that you were trying to circumvent the armor rules by declaring that each part had 2 Materia slots, where if they were declared each glove/grieve being a single unit, you'd have four, where the default limit is three. If both gloves/grieves were one unit, then they'd have four slots, which is above the maximum (3) you can get out of a standard shop-bought armor, and would then cost 1080 Gil per pair. (I don't know, is it possible to quest for an armor that exceeds the normal stat limits?) |

I was going to point that out...but unless I'm thinking of another Tony, who already has an ability approved that lets his character wear two more pieces of armor (with the main requirement being 100 Strength)...you might already have that one to use. |

Yes, Bones has an ability for Lini that lets him wear 1 extra piece of armor for every 100 of strength or endurance, I forget which, so something like that is allowed. |
