Getting too old for this shit.
|
Name: Canyon Infiltration Requirements: 3-5 Participants must work for Shinra. It is recommended that anyone else have their own means of flying. Number of People: 9-12 Location: Cosmo Canyon Description: Professor Fegoglio, a mechanical mastermind, convinced Shinra higher-ups to fund the construction of a new warship he designed supposedly for unsurpassed military applications. Toward the end of its construction, Fenoglio hand picked some of his most devoted subordinates to crew his ship during its test flight. When the launch date arrived, he played the part of the onboard supervisor. Fenoglio unexpectedly killed the captain after take off and assumed complete control over the ship without a single objection from his willing followers. Fenoglio ordered a change in course and it wasn’t long before they reached their destination, Cosmo Canyon. His personal bodyguard, a Turk sent to keep an eye on him, did not spend his time idly during the flight. He hacked into Fenoglio’s personal computer and discovered the mad professor’s plans. The spy may have been able to stop the madness from unfolding further had he waited to report his findings to his superiors back in Midgar. Fenoglio had ordered complete radio silence and the Turk's phone call was immediately detected and traced back to his private quarters by one the crewmen. During the time it took the security team to find and kill the spy, the Turk had already planted a virus into the ship’s computer. When informed of the problem, it took Fenoglio only seconds to halt the progress of the virus. However, undoing the damage done to the automated weapons system and targeting computer would take much, much longer. Fenoglio had ground troops positioned all around Cosmo canyon a day prior to the flight. They had just finished laying a thick and extensive minefield around its borders. Other followers of his who had not joined the flight helped ensure a smooth operation by destroying as many Shinra helicopters located in the HQ hangar as possible. He wanted no interference and he definitely wanted no one leaving or entering Cosmo Canyon. He needed every last drop of blood from the locals for his mad scheme to succeed. The ground units’ job now was to wait and patrol the outer edges of the minefield and a safe distance from the massacre the mad man intended to enact. The shortsighted scientist encountered another contingency in his plan. He had not expected his progress to be stalled and so, he had not prepared for outgoing communications from the residents of Cosmo Canyon. He figured that he would have been finished with killing them all long before any help could arrive. Instead, the residents had plenty of time to inform the rest of the world of a giant warship hovering over their fair city. It will only take a day for Shinra to have its hangar restocked with newly built helicopters, but that is time they do not have. Due to the desperate situation, a few Shinra operatives have been selected to take the president’s private helicopter to the warship. They haven’t been informed of Fenoglio’s plans; they have simply received orders to stop him and anyone who interferes. Six SOLDIER have already sided with the professor over tempting promises of power and so, the president will not tell the team anything that he feels will jeopardize the mission. Civilians who wish to help defeat the demented Professor Fenaglio must find their own means of transportation. The Wrong brothers, a pilot and a navigator and both are mechanics, have a flying transport just outside the minefield. They won’t charge anyone who wishes to join them in their adventure to save Cosmo Canyon, but space is limited to only four extra passengers. Important Note: The first four civilian characters, without their own mode of flight, to sign up may fly with the Wrong Brothers. An adventurous pilot by the name of Oliver Wrong and his equally adventurous young brother and trusty navigator, William Wrong. Reward: There is a first place and second place prize. Both are secret and are Cloud-approved. |

Doesn't particularly like the Art of Fighting, but definitely wants to be the King of Fighters.

Looks good. Go for it when you plan to. (Pending Grandel's epics, I might jump in, with my own plans, depending on who joins me.) |
