So this morning as my work day came to an end, I was happy because that meant I had survived another week. Then myself and the other agent and supervisor got to taking and somewhere it was mentioned that the supervisor and the senior supervisor had traded days off. Then I realized it was Friday and not Saturday because Saturday is actually my Friday. I was all set to relax, maybe go pack and clean, take the kids to the park, instead I have two more work days, oh well <_ Have a wonderful and blessed day |

Sitting at home recovering from this week's unplanned surgery. I figured I would post a hello before i take a nap, I can't remember when I have slept so much. I am so used to run four or five days on a few hours of sleep, I have been very confused since Monday evening when this all began, Tuesday and Wednesday I really don't recall because I was heavily medicated both days Thursday I moved from the sofa to the bed, Friday I got up and moved around Saturday night I did light house work to feel useful, supposed to have a check up Wednesday hopefully I can get back to work by that night maybe Friday |

Okay I am not sure when the Last time I posted here, but I know it's been awhile. This week has been very chaotic. My wife has been sick since Tuesday and bed ridden since Wednesday. I have been going solo with the kids Pretty much on my own since Monday. This has included getting them up, bathe, dress and feed and out the door by 8:10 and to school by 8:45am. Right now they are bathing. I am waiting to start more laundry. Neither kid is a morning person, usually by the time we get to school both are coming around We moved our daughter from a car seat to a booster seat. Both kids are now in booster seats I have to say it's a relief before they had huge bulky seats cleaning around them, taking them out and putting them back in was a huge hassle. The booster seats I simply remove. The kids love them. Okay it's time switch laundry to the dryer , start the next batch , check on the wife get the kids ready for bed and be out the door in hour to go work, thank God it's Friday for me |

Prayers on the way. Bronchitis is making the rounds here. I had a head cold a few weeks ago that left me with a choking cough. Thankfully, it is almost gone... |

Okay I am at the laundromat and figured I would post a quick hello. Seems like activity around here has slowed considerably. I haven't been around much at any of the sites due to personal reasons. I haven't been around on Facebook either and won't be after a year of inactivity and personal/legal reasons I decided to deactivate my account. We are going through a legal battle over our foster soon and we (the wife and I ) decided to stop posting pictures of the kids on Facebook, because we were concerned about someone sharing the pictures with the son's biological mother. unfortunately we discovered via a friend that the biological mother had posted a picture of the kids on one of her social media accounts, the issue is the picture is located among other images that are more sexual in nature and let me say that there are levels of being angry and livid that I discovered after my wife showed me the page. Round four of the legal battle starts Wednesday. Okay everyone have a wonderful and blessed day Joe |

Prayers on the way. Perhaps the posting of your son's picture in such a place will work in favor of the boy's best interest... |

At the last hearing, our lawyer tried to introduce evidence of the websites several adult oriented and the judge shoot them down. The judge said she was not there to judge the biological mother's life style. Unfortunately the laws regarding guardianships (what we have) have been relaxed extremely. The courts only care that child have clothing, a place to sleep and food. If one can provide that then according to this judge they are fit to be a parent |

Last stop. I wanted to end the year by posting at all the sites. I have been to Debbie's and Bobbies site so this is the last stop. So depending upon where you are you have several hours to go or just a few before 2017 comes to an end. I for one will be very happy. Overall 2017 was a horrible year. Unemployment, moving, legal issues, dealing with our son and public school. The high lights where A mini family reunion in September, unfortunately it was at one of my wife's uncle. We only had time to stay for the funeral before rushing back to Las Vegas. We had the kids grandparents fly in From New Orleans and an aunt and uncle fly in from D.C for the daughters 5th birthday. Our son starting kindergarten. Our daughter starting her last year at the private school where she and her brother have attended the last three years. We were looking forward not to dropping another $9 or $10,000 on a private school. However after dealing with the school our son has been going we realize that we might be better off having her attend kindergarten at the school where she is now. Sure it will mean another $10k, probably $11k when all is said and done. But it comes down to given her the best education possible. We are so looking at private, charter, magnet schools for the son. We managed to squeeze in a few road trips. We went to California twice, Arizona three times, Utah once or twice. We drove from Las Vegas to Carson City in July. It took about 12 hrs for us to make the trip. Anytime you travel with kids if Google maps, MapQuest saids the trip will be six or eight hours, add on three or four because of the multiple stops you will make with kids. We remember to load their tablets with games and movies and had plenty of other stuff to keep them occupied. Okay so before the year ends, I am going to post, have a blessed and wonderful new year's Eve and a blessed and wonderful 2018, until next time Take care Joe |
