Servant Avenger Posts: 66 Group: Members Member #34 Joined: November 12, 2008 Location Oslo, Norway	the Shirou/T.Shiki (in shiki's favor) one has been done to death. Seeing as these two future/bloodthirsty versions of the main characters probably are the most popular characters in their own respective series i think this will be quite interesting. I vote for Nanaya, that dead end in kagetsu tohya where he twists your neck, even if it was a dead end you just couldn't stay away from running into it at least once more. I haven't played HF route, but Archer seems constantly beaten..by Saber, by Berserker, despite all his battle experience. I think Nanaya would win in a one-on-one fight because he's a trained killer and all that. But then again, Archer did kill Berserker 5 times before being put down, and he was already injured at that point, so there is a possibility Archer could win. In terms of overall attraction though, I go for Archer. He's a lot deeper than someone's murderous split personality, even though one could argue that is what he actually is... cough Plus the fact that no one is standing up for him here, so my vote goes to Archer!

Puppy Mongrel Posts: 3 Group: Members Member #61 Joined: December 9, 2008	Well if they were to fight (sadly :'( ) Nanaya would loose since he can't see any lines on Archer(he's a heroic spirit) and hence would not be able to use his only power. And even though Nanaya is fast I don't think he would be able to be faster than a heroic spirit. I don't say all this because I'm an Archer fan(check my avatar) but Nasu himself said that the only person in Tsukihime that could kill a servant is obviously Arcueid.

Shiki even with Nanaya's influence doesn't stack up well against them, the only people Nasu's mentioned really hold up against Servants are Arcueid and the 27 Dead Apostle Ancestors and even they can be at disadvantages depending on the circumstances (his example was that Nrvnsqr, who relies on overwhelming swarms, would have trouble dealing with anti-fortress skills like Excalibur and Blood Fortress Andromeda). It's been assessed by the community that Ryougi Shiki (the 3rd persona) is stronger than Tohno Shiki anyway, and she doesn't hold up against Servants either- so that tells you how well Shiki holds up. The undeniable fact is Shiki's still just a normal human even with the instincts of the Nanaya and Servants are still exponentially more powerful. To be fair though, Nasu was inhumanly vague, probably intentional, about his power assessments during interviews. Full of maybes, impossible hypotheticals, dodging various questions, etc. Edited by GTF234, Dec 28 2008, 03:13 AM.

I've never heard of that term, Satsujinki, nor about this crazy power up? Sounds pretty nifty, where can I find more information on it? GTF's point also makes a lot of sense. Archer is a counter-guardian, so he's designed to take out indescriminate killers like Nanaya and now that I'm playing Heaven's Feel, servants are supposed to be hella stronger than human beings. Of course, Nasu characters tend to violate their own rule... Archer FTW!

Possible Tsukihime 2 prologue??? :o (Taken from KT) (Bold text: Is this Shiki???) Here's how he would look like (I think, since this is not an official pic of him) Well, to sum it up, Satsujinki is something like Archer from Fate, he's an older version (although the age difference is smaller in this case) of the main character, who set out to keep his promise/achieve his goal. In the process, he becomes a lot stronger, gets more attention etc... Since now he's only a character from the "Talk" mini-story, and the possible prologue of Tsukihime 2 in KT, but if Nasu gets his way, maybe we'll see a Tsukihime 2 after the Tsukihime remake, together with Mahoyo... After all, we all want to see Altrouge, Enhance, Mr. Dawn and other characters appear in an actual game. Puppy Mongrel Posts: 5 Group: Members Member #63 Joined: December 10, 2008	Except last time I read, Tsukihime 2 wasn't ever a real planned game, more like Nasu making a quickie joke release as a "what-if" for fun. Last time I looked into it, the whole thing was a joke, like an April Fools Day prank. Nasu's mentioned he likes Shiki to be a normal kind of guy anyway- he doesn't like or embrace his eyes and his Nanaya instincts are only do-or-die wild card moments. Even then, Shiki'd still be human- Louvre's killed in a surprise attack in that scenario; with the element of surprise, a lot of people could be taken out despite the power difference. Araya didn't even notice Ryougi cut him until his arm fell of as well. But without surprise, a human is still no match for those class of demon and especially not Servants and depending on the Servant, surprise could be impossible to acquire anyway. In a straight battle, the Servant has the advantage on way too many levels.
