24 July 2009 Team Signup: ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ .exe Editor/Packer/Unpacker ~ Jad Skins ~ HonkyTonks, Hidan Music/Sound Design ~ Animus Map Modding ~ Emiya1438 In-Game Art: Rallasner, Lucid Consultant/Director: Gilgamesh 3D Models: None Programming/Source Code Modifiers: Jad ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ We do desperately need someone for the packing team, but all positions could use more help. The first builds can exclusively be modifiable by a zip file extractor of some type, but eventually I will make an installer. A programmer or a really good packer would be great for having options to turn certain things on and off. The mod should be less your own personal projects and more a direct application of the original Fate/Stay Night games. That means pulling sound effects, music, and outfits from the visual novel and adding them to the game. In a sense this will be a high-quality version mod, pulling as much canon as possible. Please hold as many teasers as you can until a patch build can be made. Previews will be required for the skins project, however. Double+ posting by team members will be suitable for updates in each members appropriate thread. Keep everyone informed. Edit: Try to keep as much F/UC material out of the game as possible, not including the Saber Lily skin and perhaps the in-game artwork for the portraits. If Jad isn't dead, he should be able to do it. Haven't seen him all week. I know he can do stuff like that though. If anyone else feels they are knowledgeable though, by all means. Hmm, didn't Jad already write a packer with it's corresponding unpacker? I didn't follow very well, but I guess it was done and some of you were using it for modding. |

The data files are compressed in different formats. Actually, we are using the Packer and Unpacker programs for the compressed formats .LA and .LMD. However, the models are compressed in a different format, so we need another Pack-Unpack program. Edited by Gabriel Roxas, Jul 25 2009, 11:45 AM.

Alright, Jad's confirmed for the project. Spoiler: click to toggle Everyone who has an issue regarding the EXE and compiling please send him a PM so he has things to do upon his return. Also, Jad, Animus said there was a problem with replacing the music. Only certain tracks were replaceable without modifying the EXE in some way. You know anything about it? |

With the exception of the music department, each section needs to make a progress report in their appropriate threads. I want to have an alpha available by September. Also, if you've run into trouble coding or file packing wise, I expect you to post requesting Jad's assistance.
