Not happy with the way Force Awakens and Last Jedi told the story of the Star Wars Universe? Then come join us and help shape that story. Create new ones and help enrich the galaxy far far away that we all love!

Welcome to Star Wars Conflicts Resurgence. We hope you enjoy your visit.

The year...is 5 ABY. It has been a year since the Battle of Endor and the galaxy remains largely at war. The REBEL ALLIANCE has reformed itself as the NEW REPUBLIC, based on Chandrila, and has continued to pursue the shattered remnants of the GALACTIC EMPIRE. The EMPIRE in turn has begun digging in at key star systems in an attempt to hold off the fledgling REPUBLIC.

All the while the REPUBLIC and the EMPIRE wage their war, countless systems are going their own way and making their own stand, independent from the two major powers and each other. This has given rise to new governments who are trying to stake their own claim in the galaxy. In addition to all this, elements of the EMPIRE are fragmenting from the whole, digging in their home territories in defiance to the central command, causing further disruption to the galaxy.

During this time, LUKE SKYWALKER has begun to wander the galaxy in search of other Force-users in an attempt to revive the JEDI ORDER. He intends to gather them at Yavin 4 to train them. Meanwhile, darkness lies in the shadows, as former agents of the Emperor scramble to establish themselves as the new DARK LORD OF THE SITH.

YOU have a choice. Will you lead troops and ships in battle, or pick up a lightsaber and fight for either good or evil? Or are you the fiercely independent type and wish to go the way of the smuggler or pirate? No matter what, the choice is yours.

The Galaxy is RESURGENT.

Prepare for CONFLICT.

Luke Skywalker was waiting at the landing pad for the shuttle to land. He could sense through the Force that his sister Leia was on board, and she was concerned. How he and his knights could help, he wasn't sure, but they would try. All he knew that whatever it was would be important, because Leia rarely asked for his help unless it was beyond her capabilities.

The shuttle, an old Lambda-class, folded up its wings and landed on the pad. The landing ramp descended and Leia and a pair of Republic troopers walked down it and headed straight for Luke. He walked up to Leia and gave her a warm hug.

"Welcome back to Yavin 4 Leia."

"I wish I was here on more pleasant business Luke. The Republic would like to officially ask for the Jedi Order's help."

"Let's go inside and you can tell me about it..."

Luke had called the entire Order into the grand chamber of the temple. The Order hadn't grown very large yet. There were less than twenty knights and roughly double that in apprentices. However, they were all dedicated to the cause and were ready to serve. He cleared his throat and began to speak.

"Thank you all for coming. I have received some news that potentially affects all of you. The New Republic has sent a representative to us and requested our services. There are a series of operations being conducted across the galaxy that seem to require Jedi assistance. I have accepted these missions on behalf of the Order and will be assigning the various assignments to the knights. Apprentices, you should know that the higher-level among you may be called on to provide support for the knights if necessary. That is all. If you are interested in any particular mission, please contact me after the meeting. You may return to your studies."

Kilala worked her way towards Master Skywalker. She was interested in conducting a mission-she was going a little stir-crazy on Yavin. Getting out into the galaxy would be just the perfect antidote for her restlessness, and it would help others. Which was just what she wanted.

She finally got up to Master Luke-surrounded by six other knights-and asked him, "What sort of missions do you have for us Master?"

"A few Kilala," Luke said with a smile, "We have a Falleen which has created a cult on Falleen and seems to be striving for economic anarchy. Also there is an archaeology team on Ossus requesting Jedi help, and the New Republic has requested our help in extracting an agent of their's on Ord Mantell."

Kilala nodded, thought about it for a few moments, then said, "I'd like to volunteer for the Ossus expedition Master."

"Why"

"Ossus is an ancient Jedi world. I feel that we could stand to gain a great deal of knowledge that would vastly assist the Order's attempt to restore itself. Also I believe the work could help me overcome some of my difficulties." She knew he was aware of which ones she was referring too.

He nodded sagely, "Of course. I understand Kilala. There's a YT-2400 freighter on loan to the Order. I know you can't fly a ship but if you can find yourself a pilot, then the mission is yours."

She gave Master Skywalker a huge grin, "Thank you Master." Kilala then turned and started looking for either a knight or an apprentice who knew how to fly a freighter.

Dushall stood next to Kilala and contemplated what Master Skywalker had said about the different missions. "Kilala and I can take my freighter and get to Ossus faster."

He looked at Kilala and Master Skywalker.

Luke looked at Aragon and said, "Thank you Dushall, that is most kind of you. Two knights will probably be more effective on Ossus. You'll be able to explore more the temple faster. Very well, Knights Dushall and Ten will go to Ossus and help the archaeologists."

Kilala nodded and looked to Dushall, "Thank you Dushall. When shall we go?"

"We can go now. I always have the Crescent Moon ready to go at a moments notice." Dushall turned, his robes bellowed at the sudden moment, knowing that Kilala was behind him. As he made his way to the hangar he couldn't help but think what this temple would be one day.

At the moment it was a somewhat organized mess. Crates and equipment littered the hallways and filled rooms that were without a purpose. Some of it was donated to the new order by the Republic government but most of it was donated by individuals who stayed loyal to Jedi through the dark years. The most recent addition to the Temple were people who were members of the Church of the Force.

Eventually he made it to the Temple hangar and waved his hands across the air as he turned to his ship. "May I introduce you to the Crescent Moon. A modified luxury yacht that I confiscated on a mission for the Republic. It has all the bells and whistles any smuggling ship ever needed. I'd put my money on it against the Mellinium Falcon any day." A smile crossed his face clearly a different person then who she met in the forest.

As he approached the ship it's sensors recognized him and dropped it's landing rap. A protocol Droid stood at the top ready to great him. "Master Dushall, so great to see you again. Are we to go on another mission. Oh I do hope so."

Dushall handed D-3ET his cloak, "Sure thing Deet. Start the launch sequence and let the other droids know. Also add Knight Kilala to the command list with level 2 access."

Kilala nodded and followed him as they worked their way to the hangar. She paid little attention to the state of the temple, it couldn't be helped. It'll only be a matter of time before the Jedi Temple was truly a thing to behold.

The two of them entered the hangar and she listened to Dushall talk about his ship. Kilala arched an eyebrow. She would never understand a male's obsession with shiny things that move fast. With a shrug she said, "Forgive me, but before Master Skywalker the fastest method of travel was a rancor, so you'll have to forgive me if I don't quite understand-she then saw the smile spread across his face. It was a smile few people on Dathomir ever experienced. Dushall was transformed, showing her a man she actually might- Stop it! She mentally shook herself and refocused on the conversation.

"I mean, it is a beautiful ship. You must be extremely proud." She followed him up the landing ramp and nodded to the droid. She followed him and then said, "Where do you want me?"

"Hop in the copilot seat and put in the coordinates for Ossus." Dushall took the pilots seat on the spacious bridge and brought the ship to a hover. Easing on the controls he turned it about. "Control this is the Crescent Moon requesting permission to depart, over." His eyes focused on the hangar door as his ship hovered waiting for permission.

"Roger Crescent Moon, you are cleared for departure. May the force be with you." Said the male voice on the other end.

"And with you too." Dushall replied.

He turned to face Kilala smiling, "This is my favorite part." Easing the transport out of the hangar he waited till he was clear and the hit the thrusters full blast. The g-force that was exerted threw him into his seat as his ship blasted into the sky. The craft shook and rocked as the atmosphere fought it's intrusion. At the speed they were going it was less then a minute before the craft entered the upper atmosphere and eventually the vacuum of space.

The shaking stopped and everything went calm. "Now for business." He directed the ship to the departure coordinates and waited for the computer to finish it's programming. Once finished he kicked it into hyper drive and the starts started to streak by. Standing he turned to Kilala.

"It's going to be while before we get there. I will show you to your quarters." He turned and walked down the corridor and turned to the left. "Since this ship was originally designed for the affluent the main cabins are spacious to say the least. You'll have the 2nd master bedroom on the port wing. Mine is on the starboard wing. Do you require anything else?" He asked her.

Kilala sat in the copilot chair and punched in the coordinates for Ossus. She had had some training in using a navicomputer, plus it helped that Control had sent the coordinates to Dushall's ship. She felt the g-forces crush her into the chair with such force that she had to use the Force to keep her ribs from cracking. Her body was not built for high g-forces, but she smiled just the same. It seemed to make him happy.

Once the ship made the jump to hyperspace, she followed him back to the main cabins. When they arrived at her assigned cabin she stepped into it and looked around. It was a little opulent for her tastes but that can't be helped. She looked at him when he asked if she needed anything else.

"No this will work just fine. Thank you. See you at Ossus." She then palmed the door control, shutting it.

Kilala then immediately found the environment controls and adjusted them. She cranked up the heat and increased the humidity. Most people found it uncomfortable, but for her it was home. Ships were far too cold in her opinion. The one saving grace about Ossus was that it was fairly warm.

Once the temperature and humidity reached a comfortable level, she sat down in the middle of her cabin and began meditation. Kilala began to center herself, focusing on achieving balance within herself before they reached Ossus. It proved difficult as time passed by. She could feel the Darkness probe at her heart and mind as she struggled to push them back with the Light. Hopefully she could reach balance before Ossus....

The door slI'd shut in front of him and he shook his head as he turned and went down the corridor. Working with another Jedi was something new for him. The only other Jedi he worked with had been his own mentor and Master Skywalker. Even then with Master Skywalker it was more like working with a friend. But with Kilala it was a path he had never been down before.

He eventually made his way to the captains quarters. It used to be the owners main cabin instead of the ships captain. But since he commandeered the Crescent Moon he made it his personal quarters. It held everything he needed and then some. There was enough space the stretch and excercise as well as practice his force abilities and meditate. Other then his bed and the equipment he uses to practice there were several racks containing various tools and gadgets for use on missions as well as spares. One rack was dedicated to weapons and there was a cabinet for his clothing.

Tired from the days events Dushall thought it best to get some sleep. Undressing he layer his clothes in a bin next to the cabinet. He jumped into the shower and cleaned off the grime and sweat from his duel with Kilala. When he got out he was refreshed and rejuvenated. He moved to the bed and got under the synthsilk sheets. His eyes closed and he fell asleep.

When he woke he was in a lush field of green. His eyes beheld a blue sky with whispere of clouds before him. Standing he was dressed in strange clothing that was at the same time familiar to him. On his belt hung a lightsaber that was not his own, the design ancient.

The grass was to his waist and he could feel the breeze on his face. Closing his eyes he took in the feeling as he noticed the air smelled sweet as if it had just rained. Opening his eyes he looked before him towards the horizon and he could see a huge stone pyramid protruding from the forest. His mind told him it was the Jedi Temple.

Before he could take a step he was frozen in place as the sky changed. The wind started to pick up and he could here a loud boom in the distance but as if it was coming from all directions. As he looked back towards the Temple he saw the stone blasted by a wall of wind and debris. The once proud stone structure stood ragged with entire sections missing. The wall of wind and debris made its way to him and he crouched and put his hands up to protect himself.

As the wall of debris would have hit him instead it whirled around him as if he was surrounded by a ships shield. As he looked up he saw a woman dressed in unusual garb and leather armor. She sported a mask and held a staff with twisting vipers etched onto its wood. After the wind passed she extended her hand to him. He looked at her more closely and noticed that her eyes were piercing blue, almost glowing blue if he wasn't mistaken. He took her hand... jolting he woke from his dream and heard his door chime going off. He went to open it.

Kilala continued with her meditations to try and push the darkness out, or at least strike a balance. However, every time she got close to pulling it off, faces appeared in the center of her mind. Sometimes it was her mother's, but other times it was Aragon's. That was the face that disturbed her the most. She had never felt anything for males, Kilala hadn't even taken a male back on Dathomir. Her work fighting against the Nightsisters left little time for such things.

But with Aragon...he stirred things in her that were new, and unbelievably scary. That was why she closed the door in front of him. Fear had gotten the best of her. That fear rattled her more than anything...

She shook her head and tried to focus back on her meditations. Thinking about him would most definitely NOT help matters. Who knew that thinking about her mother, a nightsister she had killed, would be a more appealing thought than a male.

Suddenly she sensed a shift the Force. It was coming from Dushall's cabin. Kilala jumped up and raced out of her cabin towards Dushall's. The feelings she was getting were...concern, spurts of fear, and curiosity of all things. The curiosity was the thing she found most unusual, so she tried to get a better sense of it. She could almost see what he was perceiving, someone with blue eyes and a wooden staff...

Kilala felt a sudden jolt in her hand, as if someone had grabbed it. She also felt Dushall wake up, so she hit the chime. When he opened the door, she looked at him with slight concern.

"What is it? Was something wrong?"

Dushall was still reeling from the dream. That wasn't the right word in his mind. It was more then just a dream, it was real in a way. He could feel and touch. No dream he had ever had was this vivid or realistic. He hit the door panel and the hatch slid open, there stood Kilala.

A instant thought crossed his mind and he could feel the rush of blood to his face as he realized he was s tr adding stark naked with Kilala right in front of him. Instead of letting her see his embarrassment by turning violently to find clothes he walked about as normally as he could to get his cloak over him.

Assuming she was there because she felt something in the force he decided to tell her about his vision, yes he thought vision was the right word. He turned toward her and motion that she sit down."I don't know. I was sleeping and I was having this dream but it was more then that." He then told her all about the dream going into every detail no matter how small it was.

"I'm certain I had a force vision. I remember Luke telling me about his first one and it seems to be a similar experience."

Kilala couldn't help but see what he had to offer and was not disappointed. If they had been on Dathomir....he would have started a war at any clan. When he turned to get his cloak, she allowed her cheeks to burn. As he turned back to face her, she quickly used the Force to make the redness fade.

He motioned for her to sit down and she did, listening to his words. Admittedly she didn't fully understand everything but from what she knew about Ossus, it might be about the disaster that devastated the planet several thousand years ago. She had no idea about the woman though. When he described the staff, she immediately thought of her mother. She had wielded a similar staff in her time. But she never wore a mask so it wasn't her. Although it ultimately didn't matter, what mattered was this vision.

"Considering our mission, it must have something to do with Ossus. But from what I understand, Ossus was devastated countless centuries ago. Multiple stars went supernova and ravaged the planet. Surely there couldn't have been survivors. Surely you saw something from the past. The past does dictate the future after all."

She was right, the past does dictate the future. Pondering those words he closed his eyes and focused on the vision, trying to recollect anything he may have missed. The scene started to form in his mind. But he was interrupted by the sound of his protocol droid.

"Excuse me Captain but we will be approaching Ossus in approximately 15 minutes." The blank stare of his silver protocol Droid gazing on the two Jedi.

"Thank you Deet. We will get ready. Please prepare the speeder bikes for departure." Dushall said as he stood and faced the droid.

"Very well sir." The Droid turned and started to walk to the hangar.

Dushall faced Kilala as she sat in his room. Her Dathomiri appearance just exuded a aurora of some kind. He had traveled the galaxy and had met other women of various species and the only thing he had ever come to that was close to the presence she exuded was a twilek pirate he had to get close to. Suppressing those memories and the feelings her presence was bringing out he looked at the young woman. Not just a Jedi but a woman, that he saw now. "Meet me on the bridge in ten minutes please."

Kilala nodded and once he went to the bridge, returned to her cabin. She went into the refresher and did a quick scrub down, taking only to minutes. To speed things up she used the Force to dry herself, and then redressed herself. She double-checked her survival pack for supplies. Inside she found what she expected: stim-shots, bandages, a short blade meant for cutting at vines and similar materials, along with a few other things that could be beneficial to a person caught in a pinch.

Kilala attached the pack to the left side of her belt and attached her fighting staff. Best to be careful about everything. She then headed up to the bridge. Things were becoming slightly strange with Dushall. She could sense that his opinion and overall feelings towards her were changing. And if she was being truthful, she actually liked it and felt the same. But they had a mission to do and they could worry about their feelings after it.

She arrived on the bridge and sat in the copilot's chair without a word. Then Kilala turned to him and said, "You do know I don't know how to actually drive a speeder right?"

"I'm just saying, where I'm from the fastest method of transportation was via rancor. Granted I would love to have Bumpy here to give me ride down there.
"
"Bumpy is my pet rancor back on Dathomir."

"Don't look at me like that. I was eight when I first got him and if you ever saw him it would make sense."

After Kilala left his room he moved to the cabinet that contained his clothes. Looking over his few outfits and factoring in the current location he decoded to go with his Jedi robes. Unlike the traditional Jedi he didn't wear the tan, brown and white colors that most Jedi wore. He used to wear those until he came across a piece of knowledge on a mission to Correllia that spoke of Correllian Jedi wearing green robe with dark earthen colors for the tunics. Wanting to feel more attachment to his ancestral roots Dushall decided to incorporate his heritage into his robes.

His tunic was green brown and tan with a brown cloak. Once he was clothed he made his way to the weapons rack. He grabbed his lightsaber and decided that his pistol would also be a good choice. Once again despite the way the old order worked the new Jedi were starting down a different path. Putting the pistol in its thigh holster on his right side he clipped the lightsaber to his back.

In his third rack held his specialized gear. He pulled out what he figured were essentials, included in the various items were his comm unit, light emitter, rations, cordage with grappling hook and various other survival items that would fit on his belt. Ready to go Dushall walked out of his room and onto the bridge a minute later.

Dushall listened to Kilala and what she had to say about the speeder and he didn't think much of it but when she mentioned the name of her pet rancor he snickered a little. The thought of facing a terrifying creature named bumpy was just too funny.

Dushall hit the ships comm chanel, "Deet, change of plans. We only need one speeder." He turned off the community before Deet could respond. Looking at Kilala he grew just a tad serious. "You really need to take some of the technology classes the Academy has. Piloting a speeder is basic skills." Then a little more jokingly he added, "Not all of us can have a fearsome rancor named 'Bumpy' to ride around in."

Before she could say anything Dushall open the ships comm to outgoing frequencies, "Ossus Traffic Control this is Jedi Vessel Crescent Moon, requesting coordinates for surface landing. Over!"

A raspy clicking voice of a in insectiod alien came over the comm channel. "Roger, Cresent Moon. Your transponder codes are accepted and we are sending you the coordinates for your landing. Welcome to Ossus."

Glancing at the computer he received the codes and inputted them into the ships computer. He new destination now showing on a holo map between him and Kilala. "This just might be interesting." He said as he looked at Kilala. But as he looked away the vision of those glowing blue eyes stared back at him.
