![]() Hi everyone! <3 Parvati here. First of all, I would like to acknowledge the hosting team for their efforts these past few weeks. Of course, also, all of you on the jury. Each and every one of you have made this journey an enjoyable experience for me. No matter if I was on the same side as you or not, I have nothing but good things to say about you, and it has truly been a pleasure. My journey in this game began on Raro! I built strong connections with my tribemates, and my first alliance in the game was with Candice and Flicka, who'd have the majority over Jonathan/Adam. At the same time, Jonathan approached me with a separate alliance of me/him/Adam, so early on I found myself in a position of power on the tribe. Rather than play both sides, I approached Flicka and warned her of the guys scheming against her and Candice, who at the time was on Exile Island, to further cement this alliance. Then I was swapped to Hiki, with Cristina, Becky and Sundra! Cristina and I aligned right off the bat, and agreed to convince one of Becky/Sundra to vote off the other, should we ever lose. That came into play the following round, when we pulled in Becky to vote off Sundra. Being down to three members was a sticky situation to be in. I was the only person from Hiki to show up to the next immunity challenge, but I single handedly won it for us, sparing Becky. ![]() When I ended up on NuNuPuka, I was definitely worried about my chances of survival. I was the only original Raro on that tribe. Candice, Flicka, Jonathan and Adam were all on the other side, I felt I would be an easy target cause people would figure I'd be a top candidate to flip at the next swap/merge. I also heard that Cao was suspicious of me having the Raro idol, due to being on Exile Island the previous round. So I really had to up my game and work with what I had. In particular, I built a strong connection with Stephannie. We were the only two original tribemates on Puka, so I pledged my allegiance to her and we agreed to stick together. There was concern of the Asians, who made up half the tribe, being a voting block, so I urged the other four of us to team up, and Yul came to me with a scheme to split the votes between Becky/Jenny, due to suspicion of them working together with Brad, and helping each other get sent to Exile Island to share the clues. Becky said she would be happy to target either Stephannie as the easy vote, or Yul, and I pushed Yul so that the Asian voting block was fractured, plus I still had my Hiki numbers with Cristina/Becky. NuNuNuPuka was an even tougher situation for me. I really had to fight hard to stay in the game at this point. Again, the Asians had a voting block of Jenny, Cao and Brad, who I suspected were the core of original Puka, and I would have a tougher time breaking them apart than I did on my previous tribe. I'd already known that Cao would come after me when he had the chance, Ozzy was immune for the first Tribal we went to due to his attempted mutiny. Ozzy and I teamed up, knowing that we were the outsiders who were the two on the chopping block, and needed to work together if we had any chance of survival. They worked hard to get Stephannie to flip and vote me out to prevent a tie, and Ozzy would leave next time we had to vote someone out. But I'd built a close alliance with Stephannie from our previous tribe which protected me, sadly the vote did end up tying and she was tragically rocked out. We went to Tribal again minutes later, where Brad flipped on Cao, and I knew one of my biggest competition was eliminated from the game. Merge time! Immediately, Ozzy, Cristina and I agreed to stick together, we'd all been aligned with each other at various points during the pre-merge. We pulled in Nate and Billy to form a majority, with our first target being Rebecca. She approached me with a last minute plan to take out Cristina, but I couldn't trust going with that group, cause I hadn't been on a tribe with her until that point, and unlike Nate, we didn't really have mutual allies in place which could bring us together. Flicka left next, who was actually someone I was looking to reunite with, cause we really hit it off well in the first two rounds. Unfortunately, we couldn't really get on the same page or compromise each others allies. She wanted to target Cristina, who was one of my closest allies, my group was after Rebecca, who was one of hers. I felt had Candice made the merge, I would've been more inclined to reunite with our original Raro alliance. But I had to stick with my merge alliance, it was too much of a risk putting all my cards on Flicka, because I was wary of Jenny and Brad, who'd targeted me pre-merge, so my goal was to set myself up in a position where they wouldn't have the power to attempt a move like that again. ![]() Jenny and Brad took the fall next, I was open to working with them, but I couldn't see an avenue in which it would benefit my game. I know it was frustrating for the early merge boots to try and take Ozzy out time after time, only for us to seemingly not listen. But I knew as long as Ozzy was in the game, that was someone who'd take the attention away from me. I was happy to let him be the one the minority attempted the majority to flip on, cause I felt if Ozzy ever left, I would take his spot as the biggest threat. I knew I had to take him out at some point, and I feel I timed it perfectly. I did approach Cristina about needing to take Ozzy out at some point in the Final 6 round, but I felt we should at least honor our Final 5 deal, so I waited until then to make my move, and pulled in Cristina and Billy to make it happen. I think the final four round was very much up in the air, and I could've been a target had I not won immunity. But I kept my focus in a tough endurance and mental battle and fought to earn my position here. I chose to stick by Billy and vote for Nate, because I felt I owed him for keeping me safe the previous round, so a tiebreak would be the fairest outcome to determine who would make it to the end. Now, here I am! It wasn't an easy journey my any means, but I felt I earned my position here. This game had many twists and turns, with all the pre-merge swaps, some of which didn't put me in the best position. But I felt that no matter what was thrown at me, I always managed to find a way out. Coming into this game, I knew I could rely on my social, strategic and challenge abilities. These are my strengths, and I used them to my advantage to make it to this point. I know how badly some of you want to be in my position tonight. Let it be known, that I gave this game everything I had. I was pushed to the limit by all of you, and if you value someone who worked hard to get into this position, and appreciate someone who takes the game as seriously as I did, I think I am a worthy candidate to receive your votes. I gave the immunity challenges everything I had, and fought hard to win two of them. My social game helped me pull allies to my side when I was in danger of survival, so I feel overall I played a well rounded game. I was always playing for the win, and was never going to settle for anything less. I think these are all qualities of a deserving winner, and I trust as a jury, you're able to acknowledge that. Good luck with your decision tonight! Please ask any questions and I'll answer them to the best of my ability. No matter what happens, I'll leave this game with fond memories and remember all the fun and craziness we've shared together. |
