![]() Cao Boi say: In most games of Survivor, one person wins. But when members of different races and cultures make it far together, everyone wins. And that is exactly what I saw, a winning combination. A group of people from different ethnic backgrounds, working with each other and setting aside their cultural differences. I would have loved for one of them to be an Asian, but Cao Boi will settle for this. Rest assured, I have read your jury speeches, and I applaud the effort the three of you put into them. This makes my decision more difficult, however. So I would like to ask you this question. Keep in mind, that this question has to do with traditional Vietnamese customs. ![]() You may be seeing this image and may be wondering "why does this person's back look all bruised and injured like that?" No, that person wasn't really injured, because this is an Asian medicinal technique we refer to as cạo gió. It involves repeated pressured strokes over the skin with a smooth edge, usually with the edges of coins or animal bones or horns. It might seem excessive, but we believe this method releases impure elements from the body that may have already been injured, and stimulates the blood flow. My question is, on a scale of 1 to 10, if you were to go to Vietnam, how likely would you want someone to apply the cạo gió treatment on your body? Trust me, this technique gets rid of more than just the bad wind, and is well worth it! |

Hmm, well I HAVE been shot once, and it still hurts..but that treatment looks awful and even more painful. Depends on who's doing the treatment, and if it's not some professional doctor or something (like Candice!), I would not like to go! So, 4/10 |

Oh wow, that does look painful! It's not something I would usually try, I'd still love for you to give me a manicure once I get off this island, at your nail salon. My nails are a mess! You're welcome to come to my ESP Wellness Center and I'll be happy to give you some pilates or boxing classes. Sound good? ![]() As for cạo gió, I'd give it a 10/10. Why not?! I'm all about immersing myself in different cultures. The theme of this season is testing how people of different races interact after all, so coming out of this game, I'd like to try something that's a bit out of my comfort zone. I wouldn't mind some Asian food too, as long as it's not plain rice. I'm a bit over that by now! |

I would have to say that my jury question was very controversial, but I'm glad it gave me the results I wanted! I have looked over the responses you gave me, and I will think about who I should give my vote towards. It will give you happiness! |
