The code we were using for fake-resizing pics was a bit of an odd one if you clicked on the pic - often bringing up a smaller pic than the original  As a consequence, we now have a new code which will make pics a maximum 500 pixels wide and 500 pixels high, so nobody should have problems seeing them  It also acts quicker so that it's less jerky and doesn't do so many unexpected things
