Sylvia to get the chickens to sit right with the other background stamps you could mask off the chicken area, stamp the wagon and gate then restamp the Chicken to make it look as if it is in front of the gate and wagon or whatever. Use stick-it note paper, it is perfect for masking out stamps. :yip:

I am aso getting a chicken stamp.

Hi Poppy, wish I had thought of using those - I forked out for a bottle of masking fluid !

I expect you've seen Amanda's gallery ? She has done some terrific cards with her chicken stamps don't you think ? You won't be disappointed with your stamp when you get it , mine is excellent quality and Amanda included some nice extras - 3 types of backing paper, a sheet of hessian, some brads and some chicken feathers.

It's a shame I'm not more experienced as she is really looking forward to seeing what cards people make with her stamps - you for instance are sure to have lots of good ideas with your artistic teaching background.
