Cosmic Member Posts: 6,875 Group: Advanced Members Member #339 Joined: May 29, 2006	Hi Martine I have got a regular Hotplate, its a glass topped salton hotplate, it has a temp control however it does have a hotspot. I use mine on a regular basis and can control the heat really well as I have got to 'know' the settings required for specific techniques and I have never had any problems with it, and I reckon you can pick them up for under Ł30 Sal has used a food warmer that you put in the microwave too Sally
