:hi:

Hi! This forum has only been up and running for a few minutes, as I write this :D I hope that it will soon fill a very real need for crafters - a meeting place with no specific craft slant and no agenda! :)

Please make yourself at home, and don't forget to introduce yourself :D

It has struck me that CraftBoard seems to lack one thing: a clear "mission statement" :D To correct this. I've come up with the following:

Quote:

CraftBoard has been created to provide a friendly home on the Internet for all Crafters, regardless of what craft(s) they enjoy.  CraftBoard is entirely free and has no financial affiliation with any crafting business whatsoever.  We exist only to allow Crafters to chat, exchange info'. and learn new crafts, all wrapped up in having lots of fun!  Members have privileges, of course.  They have access to areas not available to Guests, such as the CraftBoard Leisure Centre and various tutorials produced by members.  They are also allowed to actually post messages :)  The rules are clearly stipulated for all to read but it is worth mentioning the fact that anything considered offensive by the Administrators/Moderators will not be tolerated.

Cheers,
Steve :)
