Hello people,
My name is Jenny. I was born in the early 60's and part of me is still there.I have only recently discovered that I CAN make things that other people like.I am still having problems communicating with fingers to make them do it how the brain wants but patience is a virtue so I'm told. My first love is cross stitch,followed closely by card making. I'm still trying to find "my thing" in this field. I knit quite well I have crocheted (Lynda why does it always end up as a circle?),I have recently achieved roses made from fabric and florists ribbon (Steve says I have to post the method for these)and I have made rugs and the odd tapestry. I like reading and crosswords.
The title of my post refers to the fact that I went out to do a disco and came home to find not only that I had been signed up to a forum but that it lived here!!!!!!! Well if he's happy then so am I.
I look forward to making new friends and perhaps being able to master a craft or two.
My regards Jenny.

Hi Jenny,

I can understand how you felt when you got home and discovered this site had been set up especially for you! Lucky you!!!! Glad to be on board with you on this forum. Thanks for the warm welcome. I have edited this but it has still quoted your message. Never can get the hang of these computers at all!!!! AND I don't know where that silly green face came from, honest!

Poppy. :)

It seems superfluous for me to welcome you aboard, Jenny :lol: but I do so anyway :thumbup;

In all honesty, Jenny's need wasn't the only factor involved in setting up CraftBoard :) I've often trawled throughGoogle for crafting forums but never found any that covered all crafts and that worked properly. Hence: CraftBoard

I'll look into the problem you had with editing Poppy :)

Cheers,
Steve :)
