Hi My name is Carolyn. Im 58 years old and live in the state of Indiana in the United States. I recently discovered Teabagging and am a memeber of all of Richard's tile groupsThey are absolutely wonderful. Through that i found this forum. I mainly do scrapbooking but also am learning cardmaking. I use rubber stamping some with both of these also. Therefore I thought I would get a lot out of this forum. I can always use help as I have lots of questions. |

Welcome Carolyn, I too am new. I don't have much to offer yet but am picking up things and experimenting with odd things. Any thing that turns out well I will let you know. I still tend to get in a muddle with tea-bags but have done a few. Above everything else have fun Regards Jenny |

Teabagging; Originates from Holland, although more countries are now claiming to have invented it. Tea bag folding is small 1" 2" or 2 1/2" squares of either fancy or plain paper. You can also buy tea bag papers that fold to form matching patterns. Tea bag squares are folded and assembled in such a way to form a rosette. This is then mounted onto a card. Usually there are 8 squares in one rossette, but in American tea bag folding there can be upto 42 x 3/4" squares, this creates multi layered rosettes, which can be quite fiddily to fold, but beautiful when finished and mounted onto a card with double sided spacer tape. There are many folds that interlock to form different rossettes. Hope this answers your question, which is not silly! Poppy. |

Excellent explanation, Poppy Perhaps you could copy the text and then post this explanation to the Tea Bag Forum? I think it's worth making into a "sticky" topic there! Steve |
