Attaching Inserts To Your Cards.

One of the worst things when you have done a beautiful card is to mess it all up by attaching an insert and making a complete hash of it; I've seen it done hundreds of times with students who won't take notice of instructions. Then they wonder why !!!! I like to fold the card, then fold the insert, deco cutting the edges first.

Open the card so it resembles an L (this shape) place 1" of d/sided tape centrally at each side of the fold. Take the fold of the insert and butt it aginst the fold of the card, still keeping it as an L shape.

Peel off the tape backing on the left (upright) side of card. Still holding the insert in place, now fold over the left side of card and press firmly where the d/sided tape is. Turn over and repete.

Result; A nicely placed insert that opens perfectly with your card. No more puckered inserts from now on!!! Hope you find this useful

Poppy. :)
