I can't imagine making these, let alone eating all that candy, but thought you might like to have a look at these projects:

Ok girls (Steve doesn't like them)
I think Lynda has thrown down the gauntlet here. Who is going to make one if we all send the wrappers to you :)
At last a reason to eat sweets!!!!!
Yours with predicted toothache

You couldn't pay me to eat those candies! I have also seen pictures of the bags made with Ramen noodles packages.....I don't buy those, either.

I will never look at food wrapping in the same light again, I'll always be wondering what can be made out of it lol I am sure there is something you can make from milk bottles (not the glass but the plastic ones) but can't decide what yet lol

LOL We Americans are recycle junkies. And yet we waste more than anyone on the planet!! :D Go figure!!

These purses are very popular in the US with the kids. They eat tons of candy! and the wrappers are very colorful. I have not made anything like them, but many of my friends kids are into this craft. We are also crazy about records and record covers being made into things. (purses, boxes, bowls and anything else we can think of. LOL Have any of you seen these? They are very clever and cute.

No, I haven't seen any of them, I'll have to go on a search as I have loads of records but no record player lol

Edited to say I've done a brief search...they're great but the ones for sale are sooooo expensive!

Any spare Cliff Richard LPs going. I've still got a record player and can't bring myself to do this to Donny Osmond or Leo Sayer.
Great site tho, thanks Mardar

LOL Sorry no Cliff Richards. I was more into Kiss and Queen. LOL Opps :red:  showing my age! I know what you mean about not wanting to part with the good ones. I get old records from yard sales and junk shops for my crafts. Unless I find a good one. I have an Elton John record I have never been able to play, but I just can not part with it. I love the guy! LOL

Oh Dear, Oh Dear!!!!

In the late 50's when I was VERY VERY VERY little, only just walking and talking!!! In fact still in nappies!!!!

Or was it in a previous life!! LOL.

I remember grown ups made these bowls from 78's.

Fancy the record bowls coming full circle!!!

Poppy. :)

I'm sure there was a something on Antiques Roadshow that said Cliff's first couple of records were 78's.!

They were worth less than the ones made in the 60's.

Poppy. :)
