Whats New In Paper Craft Punches!

One of the joys of being a Papercraft Tutor is that on occasion you get some pretty great freebies thrown your way! Yes truely! Yesterday I was i n my local craft shop , Uptown Crafts, and taking my usual look at what's new, and seeking out unusual Rubber stamps, floral & script, at the moment, with watercolour washes, looks fab!!!!

Sandra, the owner of Uptown Crafts, showed me a new range of papercraft punches. Similar to Fiskars Border Edge Punches, only circular, with a 4" and 6" punch around the edges. made by Make me / Karrs. She asked me to choose one for free!

This not only helps me with the cost of having to personally provide new and exciting expensive equipment all the time as the College won't shell out for much equipment, but still expect me to provide up and coming crafts for students (as do student's, come to think of it.) But, It also ensures that the students will get to use and try for themselves a piece of new equipment which I'll be introducing it to the classes.

Plus, the benefits for Sandra in the long term, when students find they can't live without one, or two or three or all of of them !!!!!!!

Check the puch out, it will also cut 4" and 6" apertures as well. Great for christmas cards.

That's great! What a nice person to do that.

My sister is always saying the same thing about having to provide stuff for the kids. Who is running these places! At least your people has someone who cares to teach them!

What a lovely person she is! There's an Uptown Crafts web site, is it the same place? It looks very nice (our main craft shop is very small and I have problems getting the pushchair around :( )

Yes, it's the same place, small but personal and packed to the ceiling with goodies too! Just waiting for loads of Fat bums to knock all sorts off the shelves!!!! lol!

We also have a new rubber stamp craft shop called Rubber Stamp World, ( it sells the aircraft and Fighter jet stamps that Jenny likes). This is the opposite and has wide isles for disabled customers, because the owner is disabled himself and understands their needs. Also, I can reach everything on the shelves with ease.( I'm just under 5' small.)
