Yes Sharon the first one looks like a view of a jungle canope with the beautiful purple mountains in the background. I love the purple. :D

Steve,
Your artwork is gorgeous! Now, I have never heard of this type of medium
before. Now I know what you mean when you mentioned it.

I can see it would be very addictive. You have done a fabulous job! I really
do enjoy seeing your work.

Can you sit easily at an easel? I did my biggest work on canvas at an easel which I tilted back. It was fiddly and I had to keep turning the canvas round (sometimes working upsde-down) to get the effects I wanted, and used a hairdryer to blow the wax rather than smooting it, but it WORKED! Maybe you could invest in some plywood board, cut to just bigger than A3 to rest in front of you as well? Just a thought. I KNOW you'd love to try larger card. I'm working my way to A2 at the moment.....it's a bit daunting! The only thing holding me back is whether or not I can lay my hands on mountboard big enough to be able to frame it myself. Watch this space! Maria x

Steve,
This is some GREAT work.
A4 ............... I'm still dreaming of A5.
For me A6 is the limit at the moment and I'm afraid to go onto A5 so I can imagine what is must feel like when you are staring at a blank A4.
But you did SO WELL :nw:

:ta: Heidi :) Actually scaling up isn't too bad as there are things that are a lot easier to do on a larger pic :D Anything larger than A4 still frightens me, though :r :r
