As so many of our new members are here in the encaustic area, I thought I should show you a copy of Mardar's post of today, about a great, fun Community Project :D

Our pile of fabric is growing!!! I just recieved ckemp (Carol) fabric today. Loads of pretty colors that are going to work just great :thumbup;  :thumbup; We are getting there. I'm keeping an eye out for the rest. When it all gets here, I'll sit down and design a quilt for our great first annual community craft project. This is getting really exciting!! If anyone else wants to join in there is still time. The cut off date to sign up is Oct 31(next Monday) Just post a reply to this post if you would like to partiapate. All that is required is a few scraps of fabric (cotton or cotton blend or any light weight fabric.) and a postage size card with your user name and real first name printed on one side. Print large enough to cover the card (Write big). and put your name and address on the other side so I'll know who its from and will know who to send it to if you win the drawing.  I will pm you my address as to where to send it. Our UK family can get Jennys address to send to. We could use some more people. Sign up soon. Mardar :huggy:

I've sent mine to Jenny, but thought that was lovely comment "our UK family".
It's better than a family at times, as the saying goes you can't pick your family but you can pick your friends! I'm lucky with my family but others may need the support and friendship here.

Thanks to you both for your hard work.
