Being without any inspiration for the last days I made this pic. The colours are very dark. Just worked with what 'happened' and called it flowerfish .

I like this...... I know it's dark, but the different images I can see are all pulled together by the light coming from behind the castle. I can see faces, gargoyles and I still like it. Well done Heidi. |

ok i see the flowers... i don't see any fish. should i see a fish?
well what matters is that when i see this it makes me think and for some odd reason i kinda like it. its like one of those really bad stormy days when everything out is dark and gray. <_< but yes i like it in some odd way.

You should not realy see fish. But for some reason the left part reminded me of a part of the river where salmon climbs river-upwards (don't know the english word <_< ) And I thought the flowers weren't realy flowers so why not make it 'flying' fish climbing up the river. Am I making any sense Maybe the colors are so dark because for the first day since a long time; it was a cold, rainy and stormy day (getting adjusted to the arrival of autumn-weather). |

A nice dark and moody picture. And the castle is really good, silhouetted against that huge moon! What size is t by the way? Maria x |

Do you mean a fish ladder? The flowers are sort of floating so could be seen as fish, it is lovely and the dark colours give hidden depths and make it mysterious.

Fantastic card Heidi. I love that it is so dark and yet shows such emotion in its darkness. I really love the face at the very top. It looks almost Aztec in design. Great job!

Poppy you asked how I managed to keep the castle while making the moon. I used a small glass to draw the shape of the moon and then I just scraped away the wax around the castle within the moon. And Jo you understood what I meant a fishladder must be the word I was looking for. Thanks!!! Mardar you see a face at the left top? Took me a while but I can see a profile; hope that's what you mean???
