Must be a day for it..I just did another fairy too! Are they breeding?

I think this is a really good first attempt! I don't find it easy to draw figures at the best of times, but it's even harder with a stylus, till you get used to it! This has a lovely charm to it and you should feel very proud! :thumbup; Maria x

What a lovely fairy, I've never tried encaustic art, but although people on television do a few flicks and make an impressive picture, I know it must take a lot of skill. :nw:

Poppy,
You have a great idea there.....................maybe if I size her up she would fit on top of the tree.... :r

Mifmif, I've got a question for you: how do make your fairies? I outlined her with a fineliner and filled it with the styler..........
any tips?
I noticed mine is a bit short and uhhhhhhhhhhh fat? :rlol: Maybe she pregnant with yours :r

Pregnant or not I think she's charming, she has a childlike innocence about her, which is appealing.

Jo, it really isn't that hard to achieve great results :) It might take practice for some things, of course, but everybody seems to have a special ability that comes through admirably in encaustic :thumbup; You can have anything from a small pic done with a few flicks to a major work on canvas :) It all depends on what you want to do :)
