I was showing my husband all your fabulous stuff and you actually have sparked an interest in a non crafty soul! He loves all your pictures and wants to try this out. Thinks it will make a great hobby for him when he comes home permanently. he asked me to get some supplies for him when he comes home (whihc will be next autumn :blink: )so thanks ~ I didnt' think he would ever get a hobby besides fishing!

Well you know after 20 years in the army he irons everything. They recently changed to new iron free uniforms and non polish boots and he irons them anyways. :lol: I have seriously have not picked up an iron since we were first married and I was still being nice to him. :r
This will give him something to distract him from ironing our sheets.. tshirts..jeans etc etc. *sigh* :thumbup;

My daughter (Moosey) during that last school hols asked me to teach her how to iron! She said she liked doing it so much, could she do it every day? Now I am wondering what exactly it IS she wants! :lol: Don't care though...she can iron all she wants from now on. Who am I to stop her learning curve?

You've made me all feel guilty as I should be using my iron now, and not for waxing! and not reading all these topics! At least I can turn on a craft programme and watch as I iron! :r

:thumbup; Way to go Virginia...when you run out of your wax, you can 'borrow' from him. That is awesome that he has the interest in wax. You know some men were so involved with thier wife's quilting they took it up upon retirement and do they ever have a stash of cloth! :wave: Verlie

Great news, Virginia :thumbup; Of course, he'll have to join us too, then, so he can show us his work ;) If he gets some encaustic waxes, he could camouflage his boots! :r :r
