This was my first attempt at pottery. I know it's not particularly good but I am awfully fond of it. I did it about 15 years ago and have carried it with me everywhere.(Vain eh  ).

He's absolutely gorgeous! No wonder you carry him round with you! He is so cute and I'm sure a few strokes down his silky head, neck and back would have a calming effect.

My daughter loves to kayak, and has enjoyed seals playing around them. They are so curious about these strange "animals" in the sea paddling about, that they pop up and surprise the paddlers!
Next year she is going to Greenland and although she would like to see a polar bear, she doesn't want to view it too close, in case it's hungry!

Your seal is a lovely little fella. :congrats: :congrats: :congrats: :congrats: :congrats:

Why on Earth would you think it's not very good, Virginia? :o It's absolutely beautiful! :art: It's got that indefinable something that seals have and that's got to show how good it is

Virginia it's lovely, I'd love to do something with ceramics but don't have a kiln. :thumbup; :)

Perhaps might try some air drying clay if I can find some. :D

Willow. air drying clay is very cheap in places like The Works idscount book places.
I got mine for either £1-99 for a small block or £2-99 for haif a kilo sized block. It makes loads of little things as well.
