I would like to make a green man wall plaque but I need a nice big oak leaf shaped cutter to cut out the leaves ...Ive tried the sort that you would use on sugar paste or fimo but they are too small, any ideas as to were I might get hold of a larger one?

I love the green man, Its slightly freaky and abit sinister!

this is what I would love to make next term....

The only one I could find with dimensions was at http://www.cakescookiesandcraftsshop.co.uk...kie_Cutter.html with an 85 x 44mm cutter, Catherine ;)

Of course, I DON'T believe a word of it at all!
The word is out , and I have it on good authority, that She and her Hubby are off to a fancy dress party and he needs a fig leaf to cover his blushes!!!!!! :r :r :r :r Green man indeed????

Well Poppy my sissix oak leaf wouldn't do to cover anyones blushes!

:r

I wonder if you could just draw a template and cut around it , obviously a lot harder and time consuming but would show more skill. :groan

Look forward to seeing your Green man. I don't believe I typed that!! :rlol: :rlol:

I was going to suggest that Catherine find a large Oak leaf, there will be some somewhere clinging onto a branch. She could impress it for realistic veins and the cut it out. Much better to make impressions. Anyone gotta Fig leaf going spare?????? :r

No you don't have to wait until next term, Try it with pastry? Or air drying clay to see how it turns out.
