I like these shapes so I did them again but used ink on a watercolour background.

They're really nice - its making me feel I'm not up to scratch to produce anything anyone would be pleased to get - I got some cards ready but everytime I look at them they seem to get smaller and I feel as though there's not room to paint anything. You're proving me wrong of course and obviously having fun - go Virginia!

Just go for it, Carol :thumbup; I've done the background washes for some, and completed one (OK, so it took me nearly an hour  ). It's actually a lot easier than I thought it would be, once you actually get started :)

Go for it! I've seen your stuff and you are actually way better then I am any day of the week!! The only I guess advantage I have with these is years of drafiting where you coudlnt' be even a milimeter out of line so you get used to looking at very small lines very closely. It also explains the little wrinkles I have from squinting.

Great cards Virginia,love that style.

Caroloz,I know the first time you start doing these it can be a bit scary, the size is a bit intimidating, but once you have done one the rest will come easy.Remember it does not have to be a painting,or even a drawing, you can create with mulberry paper, collage, use old birthday cards, magazines, peel offs, ribbons, pens, inks and pencils and whatever you make will be unique to you. :)
