OK, there are two ideas floating around in my head, both of which are related to the purpose of this room
1 : A list of people who already do encaustic who would be willing to give direct, personal help to individuals or groups. This would involve having your name and the area you are happy to cover in a listing available only to a co-ordinator, who would then match up requests from beginners or other interested parties with any member willing to provide this service. 2 : A monthly challenge set by members in turn, based on members volunteering to set challenges. No prizes would be involved in these, but the winning picture would feature on the home page and in the Portal So, what does everyone think? Steve |

Sorry Poppy A bit laggard these days Basically, anybody who feels confident that they could help a beginner or simply demonstrate encaustic to an interested person/group, would give their details to a co-ordinator, including what geographical area they can cover. This would then be held on a database. If somebody requests help or more inforation, the co-ordinator would then PM/email anyone who covered the enquirer's area to try to set up something. This would be allow a face-to-face meeting. Obviously, it would take time to build the database up, but could prove very helpful Steve
