Awwwwwww thanks girlies Magz i do have a black cat funny enough....her names Marge(as in marge from simpsons) Will just do fantasy wax pics from now on Heres one for you fellow crafters..........How could i mount it,just foam padding it to an a5 card(i have to say looks naff) have done one(1st) with zig zag border but i need a wow factor...competition high in this shop cheers in advance fellow crafters Jinny |

Cut the foam pads into tiny bits and stick fairly into the centre in a circle, you must not be ble to see the foam pads at all. If you have curved the ball slightly this will help cover the edges so it cannot be looked down to see the pads. This is perfectly acceptable to stick the ball on in this way Jinny. Poppy ![]() The wow factor would be the filigree corners and stand made from filigree peel offs!!!! |

well jinny, mounting on backing papers is a personal thing, I like to build up a card with layers of textures from card and papers. You could make the crystal ball smaller and mount it on black card with foam pads, with you then mount on an encaistic background. Peel off stars in the corners are always a nice little touch, white mulbery paper would add a touch of softness. Its all about experimenting. magz

Thank you Poppy and Magz Ok i shall have to do some experimenting have found some nice card and papers i forgot i had !!!! i sorted out my folder yesterday!! Have bits and pieces lying about everywhere and i think hubby gets cheesed off sometimes as all you can see some days is art/craft stuff.................mind you he forgets who does the cleaning(whoooops) just 3 big boxes to do that might make an interesting thread actually to take pics of where and in what folks keep all their craft stuff!!!!!
