Re the first one, he's good, but it would work better for me if there was some green in there. I like the second one very much though....like the swell of the ocean...lots of movement.

Hi Jinny,

I agree with Maria, the second really looks like a close-up of waves.

Really nice.. Perhaps adding something like the tip of a surfboard or the bow of a yacht or catamaran just easing into frame may be an idea.

Can't wait to see the finished picture! I did a huge A2 'Green Man' ( Similiarly called 'Spirit of the Forest' - in my gallery) which I have decided to put in a show later next month.

Good luck with this chap!

I'm waiting most impatiently to see how the first develops, Jinny :D :thumbup; The second is great :art: I can see where you're coming from, Col, on your suggestions, but I think I'd be more tempted to put a couple of gulls in, struggling against what's obviously a violent, turbulent wind ;)

I'd be tempted to make it Unicorns rising from the sea. You already have two at the front. Perhaps the 'people' would not be able to see them, you know with todays modern attitudes!

Hi Jin - yep - I"m in the queue too to see finished man

It's very difficult with the ocean pic - it would be good to have a focal point - but I expect you don't want to make a mistake with the really fantastic effect you've got now. Don't suppose you've got some acetate or something to do a rough idea and see what it looks like against the background.

Love x
