Had to wait in all day today because I was promised that our new computer tower was being delivered.......only it never came! Grrrr! The only good thing about this was that, in between the computer we have crashing for a couple of hours (why does it always to this when I am in the middle of doing something and where's my new computer!!!!!!) and my sis arriving here, I had time to get out the waxes. Finished one called Can-Can, which is in the gallery, but I'm not all that happy with it, so it can stay there for now, and this abstract, which I was rather more pleased with, hence this post! Both of todays pics are A3. Fireflower ![]() Maria x |

This is fabulous Maria, lots to see and find it it - I can see King Kong in the top left, looking down on a chick! To me the whole thing looks like a fire starting in the undergrowth! Lovely colours! Sylvia

Great work, Maria I like both of them, too
In fact, of the two, I actually prefer Can Can ![]() Steve

Actually, Maria, I get this impression of can-Can being more "Creation Myth" for some reason
There are hints of things and bolder sections, like star whirlls or maelstroms ![]() Steve

Who knows...maybe if I'd had more time (I had to leave this for several weeks before I had time to finish it) then it might have come out with rather more to it than this. Maybe that is why I am not totally at ease with it. Maria x |

Hi Maria They are both very good. If I were to choose my favourite of them though, I would go for can-can ... it has a lovely mystical feel to it Great work, and on A3 too,, no mean feat ! ( is that how you spell feat ? ! feet ? pheat - who knows ! ) |

Hi Maria, Hopefully your PC has arrived and is installed by now........ In Fireflower I see your anger (well anger is not the right word; maybe dislike is better) of waiting for your pc whilst it's not coming and the old computer crashing on you  But that ofcourse is only my interpretation The Can-can works just fine for me. I hear the music and the tapping of the girls shoes on the floor. I think it's VERY well done
