Holy cow the large pic of the couple is pretty fuzzy and shows the unfinished ceiling. Sorry about the quality. It is really a gold and burnt orange meld of colors. Hope it doesn't offend anyone. It really is beautiful. :eyo:

:ta: so much for the kind comments. Yes they are a couple embracing. Pat asked me to put it up out of the sight of grandkids. He likes it but didn't want the kids to see it. I will try to remember the glazes. I have a coworker who owns a ceramic shop here so I will jog his brain too. Most of what I have made went to others so there aren't pictures. That was before I thought to record the things I made.

I miss doing ceramics. I have been concentrating on so many other things that that went by the wayside. I have a few that I cleaned and had fired then put a base coat on and used chalk for a porcelean look. That is really fun but has to be carefully scrubbed on or the chalk smears until you seal it. I will try to take some photos of them. I did one porcelean doll for Amanda when she was a baby. That was a fragil thing and I have it here since she didn't want to take a chance of it breaking at her place. Thanks all for the comments. You guys are great.

I missed this first time round.
Carol, your ceramics are beautiful. I have dabbled with clay but me and 3d do not get along.
The couple embracing is such a romantic, loving piece.
Well done.
