this was an experiment with using screws and other house hold items to make imprints in the clay!

unfortunalty it split down the middle when it was buscuit fired, so I glazed it just to see what colour the glaze was, I brought some brush on glaze called sea mist, it has crystals in it which make a splatter effect.

even though it is in two pieces, I love the texture and colour and Im going to try and make a clock next using the patterns made by the bolts and screws.

I think that looks really cool, You could use it in a mosaic or glue it back, it would be a shame to throw it out!
