Hi M - she is lovely - her features are just right and I love the tactile 3-D effect of the wings.

This is lovely Maria. I did a picture myself a couple of days ago, nowhere near as good as yours i might add, and thought of calling it "Behind the warterfall"! Will have to think if another name now! Mine faetured the borry and some bats. Maybe i'll call it "Bat Cave". It'll be posted as soon as helen gets some free time. She's working 50hr weeks at moment, Thata why my pics are comming in bulk, rather than as i do them. :rolleyes:

You really have a flair for the fairies :thumbup; :thumbup; :nw:

And how you just paint the fairies on woth-out them going muddy....very clever :thumbup; :thumbup;

Thanks. I guess it just takes practice, Jinny. The secret is to scratch out as much of the base wax as you can, then add the other colours little by little. And a good tip for fine facial features is to keep a packet of sharpened wax crayons handy and use them for eyes, nose and mouth!

Can't wait to see your 'Bat Cave' Diddydi, I'm sure it's wonderful!

Hehe, they get so frustrated if they can't draw what they want at that age, don't they! I'd let him have a go anyway, you never know...Jake might surprise you!
