Great stuff, Catherine :art: The latest kitten's name is a bit risky - hope she doesn't get eaten ;) :D "Vines" is very novel :thumbup;

Nice to see another 'Van Clawed'! She's lovely, but now I just want some chocolate..and I'm on a diet and can't have any! BOOOOOO!

The vines really catch the light, don't they. Really excellent iron-swinging!

Jinny, I have spellcheck as well, but I also wasn't able to use the emotes, which is a bit of a pain. What's happening?

WaxingSteve mentioned in another thread that all should be fixed now... Emoticons, spellcheck and dictionary should work for all.

:wave: B) :wave:

Seem to work here, but they do appear to slow it down a little.

They only work if I alter my browser the way Steve suggested on another post, Colin. I keep getting a script error displayed whenever I try adding one to my text otherwise.

Sounds to me like you have the page cached Maria. Have you tried closing the browser, then reopening it again? - That _should_ flush the cache for you.

Steve was correct in suggesting the Ctrl + F5 thing which forces a reload though, but if it keeps happening, try what I've just mentioned.. (any further probs, just PM me what browser you're using, and whether it's Windows XP or whatever and I'll see if I can help - I used to work as technical support for an ISP)

:nw: Yep..that worked, Colin...you now join my brother-in-law in the ranks of the computer gods! :lol:

Does that work with every site that I get that message on by the way?

If you get it with multiple websites Maria, You might need to do something else (emptying the cache directory your browser uses)

I can tell you how to do that, but will need to know which browser you're using, and the OS (Win XP, 98, etc.)

Also if it happens on one site each time you visit it, can you go there and write down exactly what it says for the error (if it says anything at all) or describe as verbosely as you can what it is doing wrong, and the address of the website so I can go have a look myself.

PM me with any/all of that and I'll likely be able to help.

You beat me to the cached pages question, Col :D I know that some PHP driven forums are infamous for script errors, but a lot of that is down to the hacking that they do to them to add features :rolleyes:

Is the smilies slowness a real problem? I generaally just type the codes without clicking on them, as I usually have just one hand working and it gets tiresome switching from keyboard to mouse when typing ;) Then, too, I use Opera most of the time and that doesn't accept the spell checker at all :r

It's a shame if the spell checker causes too many problems as it's quite an elegant one as these things go :( I'm happy to remove it, though, if that's what the majority prefer :thumbup;
