Did this from a photograph, it's an A4 piece. Used iron, paintbrush, and cotton bud on upturned iron. Not easy, but was quite pleased with the results.

That's stunning work, Di :art: :nw: It amazes me when I see this kind of artwork in wax using items I had never even dreamt of using :thumbup;

Stunning! Your best work to date, in fact! I have been there and you really captured the feel of the place.

Well done (would give a thumbs-up...but can't get the smileys to work without refreshing my browser, which will lose all my text I just typed!)

WOW!!!!! This is brilliant - like a masterpice from the impressionism times....

And to think I only ever thought of using cotton wool buds to tweak me ears....

Quite outstanding :nw:

Thanks everyone. Must admit i was especially pleased with this. Couldn't get it right though. The colours were too dense on sky and sun reflections. Then i thought, if i use the upturned iron, i could tske some colour out with cotton buds. :rolleyes: Worked a treat, although used about 8 of the little devils. Good job they're cheap in poundland, as i intend to do more of this kind of thing! :art:
