I made this trinket pot for all the little odds and ends that appear in my house! the roof lifts off!

I made the thatch my pressing clay though a seive, it was glazed with brush on glaze and fired in a low temp firing, at least we seem to have talked our teacher into doing lower temp firings now, everything was comming out so brown and over baked!(abit like my cake making skills! )

Very nice work, Catherine :thumbup; Takes me back a bit - my Mum used to have several, all in a kind of cottage style, a couple of them having teapot style spouts/handles, that were like this :D They were never used for anything but ornaments, though ;)
