Hi everyone - Just some flowers I've done using silver card and the stylusthingymajig .

Turned the pond on today - lots of gurgling and startled looking fish - but it's still quite frosty here each morning - so turned it off again till tomorrow.

No frog spawn :( so don't know if it's too early - or they have found a better Frog B&B down the road. B)

Anyway - have a nice weekend - we're having the mini waterfall installed on Tuesday - weather permitting - can't wait....

Love x

:o Absolutely amazing :o

They are so lifelike Terry, it really is like a photo!

The silver card makes them appear to float slightly above the card,.. I can't wait to see this in real life!

Awesome.

x

Col!

And we have frogspawn in our pond, according to Emily, though I've not ventured out to look yet, so our pump will stay off till the tadpoles are big enough not to get sucked into it!

Our semi-tame backbird is back for her 4th year and has nested in the ivy on the fence right beside this window, so I can see her going in and out while I sit here typing! We call the pair of them Romeo and Juliet, so devoted are they!

Stunningly beautiful again, Terry :art: :nw: How you get such lifelike flowers I'll never know - you and Poppy will have to get together to create a Flower Parade :thumbup;

Maria, glad Romeo and Juliet are back :huggy: I love the song of the Blackbird :D

Hi and :ta: everyone - you're too kind :huggy:

Jen - yes - it's just 3 colours of wax blocks

Col - Still think my camera's got a magic button......

Barry - :thumbup; ;)

Catherine - a really good (and patient) friend who's a whizz on the soldering iron made the tip for me as a prezzie..... it's real snazzy.....

Maria - oh blooming 'eck - didn't think of (Poppy - close eyes) tadpoles being sucked up into pump (Poppy - open eyes) hmmm  will have to do a re-think on waterfall this week..... We've got a Mr & Mrs Blackbird - but never been lucky enough to know where they nest - they just come for hot cross buns at the mo..... Any idea when Springwatch is starting on TV?

Steve - that's the thing about waxing though eh - just a few simple techniques and a bit of swishing and you end up with a pic. I'm just so glad I know about encaustics now - how boring life was before......

Poppy - doing flowers is just so relaxing though isn't it - and it cheers up those gloomy grey days we're not supposed to be having now (but are)...... sorry about the "F" word ....

Well - the sun is shining and we're (royal we - K actually) is going to try out the new mini hover mower after lunch - so have a lovely weekend all - catch ya later

love x

Haven't had much time to respond lately but when I just logged on and saw this I was in a big WOW.

I'm just as curious as the others for the tip you used. Can you reveal the secret and tell (show) us what form it has :kb:
