Hi all

I've just invested in one of Barry's finest styluses (styli?), and this is the first thing I've done with it.

I wanted to go for something a little unusual, and this is what I came up with.

It's wax on silver card, created entirely with the stylus.

Hope you all enjoy.

it reminds me of a si fi space station! glad to see youve got your self a stylus! I recommend a stand for it, I managed to let mine drop of the table so many times that I was for ever buying new nibs! and of course, if you invest in some of the micro and mini tips, you will need a small screw driver to loosen the thermo nuclear screw! see the hints and tips section on how not to give yourself 3rd degree burns! lol

nice one col! looking forward to seeing some more! :thumbup;

Stunning Col :nw: :thumbup; so tactile and brill 3D effect - gosh - you've got a steady hand..........

My crystal ball (if I had one) tells me you're well and truly bitten by the bug now - I knew you'd love this waxing thing - but I didn't realise what a talent you had...

Night-night

:ta: Thank you all ! :ta:

I've not disfigured myself so far, as am quite pleased with myself for that! - I will look into getting a stand though, as I'm sure it'll be nosediving before long. :)

Terry
Thanks everso, it's weird that both of our latest pieces were done on that silver card isn't it. I really do like the stylus now I've got one.. Thanks for gently mentioning it as much as you did.. I'm so glad I caved in and got one now. :hug:

Maria
That building always fascinated me, but I've yet to go and see it in real life. Thanks for your praise, it's much appreciated. :thumbup;

Steve
I'm considering doing a pic of a quantum particle next, though am having difficulty in getting a fine enough tip for the stylus. ;)

Poppy
:rolleyes: Well, I try... lol! - Thanks ever so much for that, it really made me smile. I just wanted to try something a little more unusual as a first piece.. I'm not in the same league as you lot though. :hug:

Barry
See, I told you I was having fun with it already.. Thanks so much for your brilliant service, as I said previously, you're a star.

The only problem now is that the sun is out, the birds are tweeting, and I'm now more inclined to sit and play with the stylus than go out and catch a few freckles.

Why, thank you Ros!

If I had a set for reference it would have made it a lot easier than doing it from memory ;)
