Hi all, on the back of the success of my last local scene I decided to try another; this is my interpretation of the river Thurne on the Norfolk Broads - A4, again I used the cotton bud trick :D

Next one planned - I'm gonna paint Horning, wish me luck! :r

Absolutely beautiful, Di! :art: Just a question: do you have problems with bits of cotton coming free of the cotton buds?

Thanks Steve and Maria. To answer your question Steve, can't say that i've noticed. they seem to stay intact. I only use them to take small amounts of colour out, in places where the iron would obliterate the picture. \you must have the iron set on low though if you only want to lighten the colour. also, if it's set too high, you tend to loose any marks you want to keep! :groan

Thankyou all. :D Love doing these, just bought a second hand book of local photographic sceens, so should keep me busy for a while! :thumbup; Also got an electric plate warmer today, brand new from cash gen, £5-00. Bargain, hope it works out, not sure it'll do the job of a hotplate yet. <_<
