This is my first landscape
Posted Image

I had tried introducing a bird flying in the sky but I made a complete mess so melted it off and left it with a fading sun.

I'm really pleased with it.

This is my first fantasy - I love it!! Entitled 'The Gathering'.

I have just purchased a stylus and can't wait for some 'me time' to have a go.

Great work, Sal :thumbup; The stylus will certainly help with birds and such ;) I always had trouble using te iron for those (too shaky :D ) so I had to use the scraper until I got a stylus :)

Hi Sal  Very impressive for first tries (I had a bucketful of "first tries" before I came up with anywhere as good as yours)

Just wait till you get the stylus - there'll be no stopping you.

It's the most amazing medium - and you'll never tire of finding new ways and ideas for using wax...

The "happy mistake" from the bird to a sunset really sets your pic off. Lovely work.

Love x

Thank you all again for the lovely warm welcome and your comments.

At this rate I'll be wanting 'my own gallery' but until I get the iron out again I can't help thinking it's just beginners luck

If that is the case, it's a really long and productive 'beginners streak' :r
