Yesterday Jake , who is 5, played about with my Encaustic Iron. Now he is much more independent, I could no longer guide him as I did last year, so these are a selection of his creations.

This was when I showed him a simple landscape, he did his in different colours. I have to admit I wouldn't like those Eagles over my house?

This is his wobble Encaustic, Jake thought it looked like a man in a blanket walking in a crowed place.

Posted Image
This is his shark looking for food at the bottom of the ocean. (I did the eyes)

Jake decided in the end that this is his Snowy Mountain. At first it has been a flower, but when he turned it round he said it was his snowy mountain top.

This is Jakes Sun Set ( when the sun goes orange at nightime, he said)!

Hi Jake  You're one talented lad - lots of different designs and fantastic colours. You have a great imagination.

Sometimes it seems easy to paint with wax - but to get the effects you have is very hard to do and I think you're going to be a great artist one day.

Lots of love

Terry and Kasi xxxxxxx  Did you have lots of easter eggs....
