Got my hot-air thingy out and had a bit of a play today. Rather pleased with the results!

I'll start with the A5 flower:

Lily

Then I had a go at a fantasy A5:

Castles in the Myst

After that I did an A5 Dragon-World pic:

From Out of the Fire

And to finish I had a go at an A4 Dragon:

Dragonmyst

As I said, I'm pretty pleased with them all!

Enjoy!

They are all wonderful ... if I were to choose a favourite it would be the last one - I just love the expression on the dragons face.

Truely masterful pieces :thumbup;

Hi M - sorry - for some reason nearly missed these - phew

They're all gorgeous - you've really got the knack with the hotairthingy - it's perfect in your fantasy work.

Special mention for the Lily - stunning :thumbup; ;)

:nw: Did you cut off bits and drop onto the card and then blow with your hotairthingy? I've still to try and haven't even done any EA for a couple of months now, sadly no time but I loved your work. The lily is my favourite. :nw:

Many thanks for all the lovely comments.

Jo, I began with a layer of clear wax, then melted drops of colour over that in the centre of the card, swirled other colours round the edges with the iron then used the hot-air tool to do the remainder, finishing off where necessary with the stylus and iron.

The last dragon is fantastic, and I love the lily. You are very talented!

Perhaps you could post instructions in the tips and techniques for we newbies...it will take some time before I would dare try this and I might not be able to find this post again.........thanks in advance

Thanks Sal!

Actually, I was thinking of doing one of my paintings as a step-by-step excercise!

What do you reckon?

Let me know what subject though, fairies or dragons, whatever you fancy and I'll see what I can come up with.
