It must have been the knobbly knees Poppy! Thanks Jenny, yes I do stamp as several biscuit tins of stamps, inks etc tell their story! I haven't done much recently, but do love Rennie MacIntosh style. I've got a Thistle already and several Celtic , but there are a couple I might buy sometime! So now we need a new link - See a craft item and name the person you think of first!

Poppy, a big floral intricate stamp, and beautiful subtle pastel background papers would bring you to mind every time. If you go to the home page of the link above, there some "new" jewel stamps which I think you may appreciate. On the subject ,(sort of) of stamping, I recently obtained a stained glass type of stamp. It had a vase of flowers and all the 'lines'. I stamped it on quite thick insert paper, embossed with black embossing powder, coloured it with gel pens (just the flowers and vase) and then rubbed baby oil just on the stamped area. The result was bloomin' fantastic. Once again I thank you Poppy for bringing the technique to our attention. |
