Wow,... .. . Were you standing like that just to demonstrate the 35 yards of fabric in the bell bottoms? Nice front lawn you had then though Did I just get a waft of Brut mixed with Charlie off of the screen? x Col! - (I'm a blue stratos and hi karate man myself)

Blimey, you're making me feel old I relate more to the 60s The problem with flares/bell-bottoms was when strong winds hit - you could do a decent impression of parascending The hair length was handy - in the winter it kept you warm, and in the summer kept the sun out of your eyes
Very definitely Brut 33 or Denim, for me At least, until I stopped that shaving lark I always thought that Hai Karate looked far too dangerous
Of course using all those smellies could be dangerous - most of them made me sneeze at best, or choke, or worse ![]() Steve

PS - re: hair - and very handy for nesting sparrows.....When it grew out - we all had the straight new hair and the fizz still at the bottom - poodle lookeylikeys... and why were there only three colours in the 70's - cream brown and bright orange. Our house was a tribute to all three....very weird times... love x

Thanks for the laugh Stumbled on this post whilst whizzing round Craftboard and I am so glad that I did! It has brought back loads of memores: I was in love with David Cassidy and Donny Osmond, with their gorgeous girly locks and sweet girly smile I went through a phase of wearing everything with a tight elasticated wide funky belt and plastic cheap jewellery My hair was out of this world, with a mad mad frizzy perm, that ruined my hair I loved Bay City Rollers and wore tartan with everything, I had tartan scarves hanging from my wrists and my mum put tartan seams down most of my trousers. I was in love at that time with Derek the drummer Then I turned into a punk, I had all my hair cut off except for a bright pink tail at the back, I had my ear (just the one) pirec ed 10 times all at the same time and nearly passed out on the market I lived in a dirty old school blazer with safety pins hanging all over it, sometimes linked back to my ear Plastered in make up Scary or what? Fantastic times Thanks for the memories Sallyx |
