Just thought I'd share two dim moments I've had recently - as a new member and a beginner, I was looking at ideas to 'show off' my pieces.
I saw a good deal on keyrings, and saw they also did coasters - wonderful - took me about 10 mins before I thought about cups of hot coffee:r -
( yes- I could scan and print it out but not quite the same)

I also noted on the forums at the side of the poster's name was a :snip: - looks liked two matches being rubbed together - finally twigged its scissors :kb:

Hi Sal - I can see you're going to fit in here very well... :lol: :thumbup;

If it makes you feel at home - I did mention this somewhere else - but been doing this for nearly two years now and only a couple of weeks ago realised there was an on off switch on the iron dial - I just used to keep plugging it in, waiting, unplugging :eyo:

Just going up to make some comments on your Members question

Love x :wave:

That makes another of us then! :lol: Anyway...can't be doing with fiddling with switches. Just give the damn thing a good tug, I say! :lol:

I tried waxing yesterday and just couldn't do a thing right! I hate days like that. I churned out the biggest load of tripe I've done in ages! :lol: What a waste of A4 too! :rolleyes:

Arrrgggghhhhhhhh!

ah - when I said switch, I meant dialthingy - you can turn the dialthingy down to off - it's very handy when working with iron and stylus - cos it saves electricity when you're fiddling about for hours with the stylus, try to override mistakes you've just made with the iron - such is life :blink: :blink:

love x :wave: yeah - I had a day like that yesterday M - and the day before - and the...... I'm sure it's the weather -brain still thinks it's in hibernation mode....

Being nosy Sal where did you see a good deal on keyrings and coasters? I was looking for a craft fair but needed to buy about 500! I've put a teabag medallion into coasters and they are fine.

:r :r

Must be in the minority :D Up early yesterday and managed to do the bookmarks :thumbup; Of course, by the time we got home, it was too dark outside to photograph them :groan It was weird though - I actually knew exactly what I wanted to do, slapped the wax on the iron, and "Hey Presto!" it worked first time :wacko: Doesn't usually work that well :r

It was also raining this morning so we went out (Jenny craft shopping ;) ) so I couldn't get photgraphs of the bokmearks we did until this afternoon :rolleyes:

Steve :)
