another green man, this time glazed, I used a piece of bark to texture his nose

and a plate, this was really meant as an experiment with glaze, I dipped it in mushroom which is a matt glaze and then dribbled some honey to make the stripes, thats gloss, it blead into the matt and made nice soft feathery patterns, I might do a couple more with this colour combination.

he took a couple of classes to complete, the first week to make the basic shape and then when it was leather hard the following week I carved it. thanks everyone!

well he should be weather proof as he is glazed but I quess only time will tell! (he is indoors at the moment!) :thumbup;

:thumbup; You are wonderful at this. I love them both. I wonder if you took the same idea on the green man and did an orange with a light brown combo to get an effect similar to my embracing pair piece. Still can't find my notebook that tells what I used. I thought it was a one step glaze though that blends that way. I will keep looking.
