I am trying to do all the different barns around here, almost every house has a barn or the old stone foundation left. I dont' think I've ever seen a town with so many barns! Some are fancy, some are falling down, some are kept up, my barn is kind of the middle ground, this ATC is of one of the ones in rougher shape.
I'm debating putting a wash on this.

I usually use a waterproof ink but even if you use markers like the gel pens and let them sit a couple of days they don't run as long as you can control your water. either way if you're adding a wash even it's waterproof it's best to let them sit for at least a couple of hours before putting on a wash, I've ruined pictures by not giving the ink time to set. Then I either use watercolour pencil or watercolours, the watercolours I like better because the colours seem clearer but the pencils are good for tiny details.
Thanks for the compliments!
