My fears of having a lazy teacher were totaly put to rest! he was alot more into helping out, we got some books out and discussed future projects! One of the ladies in my class is really inspired! both of us are going to try to do some filligree work next week, making semmi liquid clay and using a piping bag, make a fine filligree base over a mold, using a hair dryer to dry each layer! the man so sooooo full of good ideas it makes me feel a tad guilty for not giving him a chance last week! whoops! :kb: :kb: :kb:

last night I made a bowl, covered it in yellow slip and then green feathered slip like the top of a bakewell tart! its got to dry in the mold before I can clean up the edges! I was covered in yellow slip that resembled custard at one point! great fun! :big)

and we think we may have sorted out the kiln problem, we are doing a buscuit firing next week so I will have a few things to glaze soon.

Ive got my clock face to make as well, but with all the ideas we had last night, that should keep me going! lol

so Im one happy bunny again now! :big) :D

That's great, I'm glad he was so much more helpful. The filigree sounds so interesting, can't wait to see it.
