Ok....the story goes on. Remember the American lady who bought 3 of my pictures off Ebay, then wanted a 4th painting, THEN asked for another 2? Well....she came back to me and asked if I could do something for her hubby for Fathers' Day. Naturally I said 'yes'! She was very specific as to what she wanted. It must be a red dragon, who has an elf-fairy friend. It also had to be A4, so the scope for error was rather larger!!

Anyway, after a couple of false starts this is what I came up with:

Brynne Sharassa Kitaria Ta' Bour and her friend Fyrestyrm

Posted Image

I sent the scan off to her and got a mail back today.....Yes, she loves it and.....could I please do ANOTHER A4 of the same characters, but in a different pose?

I tell you, that lady is keeping the clothes on my back as well as food on the table now!

Guess what I'll be doing over the weekend then? (apart from eating! :thumbup; )

Superb as always Maria

It must be amazing to have such a loyal following! You deserve it though, as all of your paintings are gorgeous, and so wonderfully professional.

I love the smoothness of the sky that you've achieved here, it really draws you into the wonderful foreground and the amazing detail on the dragon and elf-fairy.

 If only Steve! I'm now trying to work out how I can get the same features on another fairy and dragon for the 2nd painting! But I promise you...they will be hand-drawn, as ever! Never was comfortable using stamps/ tattoos etc.

Thanks to everyone for the lovely comments!

You've sure hit the jackpot with this one - always knew you'd be famous one day ;)

This is so endearing - the way the little dragon is resting his head - ahh bless...
